Recovery level: master / My Actifit Report: #18 Jan/18/26

The night was intense sleep was scarce, barely worth mentioning but the day still started early.
After my shift, I walked home.
So yes, something moved already, Actifit can give me a small high five.
But yesterday really hit hard, and once I got home my body sent a very clear message:
“Sit down, human. Or better yet lie down.”

There was a moment for morning cuddles with the kids and my wife.
The dog and the cat, of course, decided this was the perfect moment for a full-on love attack no mercy, complete movement lockdown.
And honestly, I don’t even know when it happened… my eyes just closed on their own.

In the afternoon, I went out for a walk with little Wikuś.
And that was… the end of my activity for today.
My mind was shouting:
“Treadmill! Workout! At least 15 minutes!”

My body replied calmly but firmly:
“Not today, warrior. Today we recover.”
And you know what?
That’s part of the journey too.
Because recovery isn’t laziness it’s a strategy that lets you come back stronger tomorrow instead of breaking down along the way.

So today:
✔️ a bit of movement
✔️ lots of closeness
✔️ even more rest
Tomorrow there will be time for action again.
Today, common sense won and that’s a success too.

PL:
Noc była intensywna, snu tyle co kot napłakał, ale dzień i tak zaczął się wcześnie.
Po służbie wracałem spacerem do domu niby już coś się ruszyło, więc Actifit może lekko przybić piątkę.

Wczorajszy dzień dał jednak mocno w kość, więc po powrocie organizm jasno zakomunikował: „Siadaj, człowieku. Albo lepiej połóż się”.
Była chwila na poranne przytulasy z dzieciakami i żonką.
Pies i kot oczywiście uznali, że to idealny moment na atak miłości zero litości, pełna blokada ruchów. I tak, zupełnie nie wiem kiedy, oczy same się zamknęły…

Po południu wyskoczyłem jeszcze z Wikusiem na spacer.
I to był… kres mojej dzisiejszej aktywności.
Głowa krzyczała: „Bieżnia! Trening! Choćby 15 minut!”

Ciało odpowiedziało spokojnie, ale stanowczo:
„Nie dziś, wojowniku. Dziś regenerujemy”.
I wiecie co?
To też jest część drogi.
Bo regeneracja to nie lenistwo to strategia, dzięki której jutro można wrócić mocniejszym, a nie połamać się po drodze.

Tak że dziś:
✔️ trochę ruchu
✔️ dużo bliskości
✔️ jeszcze więcej odpoczynku
Jutro znów będzie czas na działanie.
Dziś wygrał rozsądek a to też sukces.
