Volleyball matchday with torn ankle alignment 😠- My Actifit Report Card: November 12 2023
Hey dear actifitters and readers,
We had our mixed volleyball league matchday yesterday.
We started with a strong 3:0 victory over the first team.
And guess what happened in the second match....
But let's start with the beginning. It was a perfect day to play volleyball in the gym.
It was a ugly cold and windy day with loads of rain. Some colleagues send pictures from the first snow in the mountains.
We met at half past eleven in a school sports hall and started with the first match at 12.
It was a perfect match for our team. There was no chance for our opponents. I guess it was one of the best matches we played with this team.
In the second set of the second match I landed on someones foot after a block. And unfortunately I suffered a torn ankle ligament from this move.
I had to stop playing. Luckily we had a substitute and my team could continue the match. And they won, with my support from the bench 💪
The ended the ambulance with the diagnosis of a torn ankle ligament. Luckily no bone was broken.
I hope it will heal quickly. At the moment the ankle is swollen and aching.
It feels like not being able to be very active in the next days.
