I'm a "get off my lawn" type of person. I'm capable of taking care of myself and would prefer the government get out of the way in most situations since everything they get involved with they make much more complicated and expensive than it needs to be. One of their favorite things to do is to take your rights away from you and then sell them back.

Hahaha that's a good observation there Bubba, in USA the federal govt apparently has relatively little power and the states individually have more power. However, the ultimate power should lie with the people who have inalienable rights to freedom of speech, association, movement and much more, which cannot be taken away except by criminality of part of the govt.
