Odzyskuję siły po kolejnej chorobie, więc wybrałam się na zakupy drogą rozlewiskową. Ciepło. Niemal jak przedwiośnie, a to przecież raptem przedzimie.

I'm recovering from another illness, so I went shopping along the Pool road. It's so warm. Almost like early spring, but it's just pre-winter.

Błotniście, mdło. Zdecydowanie nie jest to ta aura, którą lubię najbardziej. Ba, śmiem twierdzić, że takie przedwiośnie, czy przedzimie (bądź zasadniczo między-zimie) to najbrzydsze, co może nas spotkać w ciągu roku. Słońce zbyt niemrawe, żeby nas ogrzać, mdłe kolory, wszystko wokół w wegetacji.

Muddy, bland. This is definitely not the aura I like the most. In fact, I dare say that early spring or early winter (or basically in-between winter) is the ugliest thing that can happen to us during the year. The sun is too sluggish to warm us, the colors are dull, everything around is in vegetation.

Ktoś pilnujący wytycznych modowych mógłby powiedzieć, że te kolory są wspaniałe, bo to przecież te klasyczne i ponadczasowe brązy i beże, które tak świadczą o wyrafinowaniu. Widziałam nawet na socialach porównanie niektórych instagramerek, jak to kiedyś nosiły się młodzieżowo - kolorowo, a teraz stawiają na klasę i stonowane kolory, bo "ich styl do tego dojrzał". Ciekawe, czy są świadome, że w kolejnym sezonie producenci modowi każą im postawić na klasyczną biel, w następnym na ponadczasową czerń, a za kolejne pół roku na królewski granat, hehe.

Someone who follows fashion guidelines might say that these colors are great because they are classic and timeless browns and beiges that show sophistication. I even saw on social media a comparison of some Instagramers, how they used to dress in a youthful and colorful way, and now they focus on class and subdued colors, because "their style has matured for it". I wonder if they are aware that in the next season fashion producers will tell them to choose classic white, in the next timeless black, and in another half a year - royal navy blue, hehe.

Tak, krytykuję przemysł modowy, bo dla mnie to samo zło. Ale wracając do uroków spaceru, lub ich braku. Gołe gałęzie, ani czapy śnieżnej, ani pączków, ani liści. Smutno, martwo.

Yes, I criticize the fashion industry because for me it is the same evil. But back to the charms of walking, or the lack thereof. Bare branches, no snow cap, no buds, no leaves. Sad, dead.

Kaczki płyną pomalutku, niespiesznie. A powinny się spieszyć, przecież dzień trwa tak krótko. Zaraz nadejdzie noc, a na pewno mają jeszcze sporo do zrobienia.

The ducks swim slowly, unhurriedly. And they should hurry, because the day is so short. Night will soon come, and they certainly still have a lot of work to do.

Powiedziałabym, że czekam na wiosnę, ale przed Świętami to chyba jeszcze trochę nie wypada?

Dobrze, czekam na Święta. Niech będą białe! A zaraz po 1 stycznia zaczynam czekanie na wiosnę.
