[PL / ENG] Skąd Wisła płynie / Where the Vistula flows from My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2023

Pobyt w Ustroniu rozpoczęliśmy tak, jak tygryski lubią najbardziej - od wycieczki rowerowej.
Tym razem pojechaliśmy w stronę Wisły, co oznacza, że pierwsza część trasy wiodła pod górę, a z powrotem wracaliśmy w dół. Ma to sporo zalet, bo choć @sk1920 twierdził, że przecież ten wznios jest lekutki i jedziemy niemal po płaskim, ja odczuwałam go dość mocno, więc nieco otuchy dodawała mi myśl, że powrót będzie łatwiejszy.
Muszę koniecznie popracować nad moją kondycją.

We started our stay in Ustroń the way tigers like the most - with a bicycle trip.
This time we went towards the Vistula, which means that the first part of the route was uphill, and we were going back down. This has a lot of advantages, because although @sk1920 claimed that this rise is light and we are going almost flat, I felt it quite strongly, so I was a bit comforted by the thought that the return would be easier.
I really need to work on my fitness.

Trasa bajeczna jak dla mnie - wspaniale przygotowane ścieżki rowerowe wzdłuż rzeki. Pogoda idealna na lekki wysiłek - nie za ciepło, nie za zimno. Mogłoby być trochę więcej słońca dla ładniejszych widoków i zdjęć.

A fabulous route for me - wonderfully prepared bicycle paths along the river. The weather is perfect for light exercise - not too hot, not too cold. There could be a little more sun for nicer views and photos.

Rzekę kilka razy przekraczaliśmy na takich mostkach - jechaliśmy więc raz z jednej, raz z drugiej strony.

We crossed the river several times on such bridges - so we rode once from one side, once from the other.

Po drodze ciekawym miejscem na postój jest Mała Zapora - Wiślańska Niagara. Jest ładnie, woda szumi, sporo trawy i leżaczki dla znużonych turystów, którzy szukają małego orzeźwienia.

On the way, an interesting place to stop is the Mała Zapora - Wiślańska Niagara. It's nice, the water is roaring, a lot of grass and deckchairs for weary tourists who are looking for a little refreshment.

Lubię takie tradycyjne zabudowania. Oddają klimat górskich mieścin.

I like these traditional buildings. They reflect the climate of mountain towns.

Nadleśnictwo Wisła dba też o edukację turystów. Tu się to bardzo przydało - bo właśnie w tym miejscu musiałam znowu przystanąć i odzipnąć. Na swoje usprawiedliwienie dodam, że Bombel na początku wycieczki oznajmił Tacie "Uciekamy! Mama goni!" i tak właśnie wyglądała w dużej mierze ta nasza wyprawa :D

The Wisła Forestry Inspectorate also cares about the education of tourists. It was very useful here - because this is where I had to stop and unzip again. In my excuse, I will add that Bombel at the beginning of the trip told Dad "Let's run! Mom is chasing!" and that's what our trip looked like to a large extent :D

Na zaporę już musiałam wepchnąć rower, nie było szans wykrzesać sił na tak stromy podjazd.
@sk1920 twierdził, że pomylił drogę - chciał podjechać na zaporę asfaltem, czyli w prawo, a my pojechaliśmy w lewo i spotkaliśmy taką ścieżkę. Ja jestem zdania, że to dużo lepszy wybór. Było stromo, ale szybko udało się wtaszczyć rowery. A ten długi podjazd asfaltem też by mnie wykończył - musiałabym wpychać rower dużo dłużej. A tak, to tu szybko wepchnęliśmy, a asfaltem potem szybko zjechaliśmy. Dla tych, co nie lubią podjazdów rowerowych - polecam tą opcję.

I had to push the bike onto the dam, there was no chance to summon strength for such a steep climb.
@sk1920 claimed that he made a mistake - he wanted to drive to the dam on asphalt, i.e. to the right, and we went left and met such a path. I think it's a much better choice. It was steep, but we managed to get the bikes in quickly. And this long asphalt driveway would also finish me off - I would have to push the bike much longer. And yes, we quickly pushed in here, and then quickly drove down the asphalt. For those who do not like bicycle uphills - I recommend this option.

No i jesteśmy na zaporze Wisła Czarne.

And we are at the Wisła Czarne dam.

Z jednej strony rozciąga się pyszny widok na nieco ponure przez tą pogodę Jezioro Czerniańskie.

On the one hand, there is a delicious view of Czerniańskie Lake, which is a bit gloomy because of this weather.

Po drugiej stronie widać góry....

On the other side you can see the mountains....

... i chwila, tu chyba zaczyna swój bieg Wisła!

... and wait a minute, this is where the Vistula begins its course!

Good morning Vistula!

W drodze powrotnej zahaczyliśmy jeszcze o początki obchodów tygodnia beskidzkiego w Wiśle.

On the way back, we stopped at the beginnings of the Beskid Week celebrations in Wisła.

Udało się też stopy zamoczyć, ale woda w Wiśle była nieprzyzwoicie zimna. Wszystko zapewne przez ten brak słońca.

We also managed to get our feet wet, but the water in the Vistula was indecently cold. Probably because of the lack of sun.
