[PL / ENG] My Actifit Report Card: June 12 2023

W poniedziałek po żłobku nie mogliśmy się z Bomblem oddać naszym ulubionym wspólnym zajęciom, bo musieliśmy pędzić do Katowic, na umówioną z dawna wizytę u kardiologa. Podczas jednej z ostatnich infekcji pediatra usłyszała jakieś szmery na serduszku i poleciła rutynowo sprawdzić, czy aby na pewno nic tam się nie dzieje. Tak więc serce przebadane - wszystko ok, jest to szmer niewinny - ale my zamiast na plac zabaw mieliśmy taką wycieczkę.

On Monday, after nursery, Bombel and I couldn't devote ourselves to our favorite common activities, because we had to rush to Katowice for an appointment with a cardiologist that had been arranged some time ago. During one of the recent infections, the pediatrician heard some heart murmurs and ordered a routine check to make sure nothing was going on there. So the heart was examined - everything is ok, it is an innocent murmur - but instead of going to the playground, we had such a trip.

Nie lubię pchać się autem do samego centrum, więc zaparkowałam jak zwykle pod galerią i miałam okazję przejść się po centrum miasta. Niestety, z Bomblem w wózku - trochę tu zbyt tłoczno, a dystans do przejścia ciut za duży, żeby mógł sobie pochodzić.

I don't like to drive my car to the very center, so I parked in front of the gallery as usual and had the opportunity to walk around the city center. Unfortunately, with Bombel in a wheelchair - it's a bit too crowded here, and the distance to walk is a bit too long for him to walk.

Ostatnio kiedy byłam w tej przychodni autem na parkingu był istny dramat, ja byłam już spóźniona, miejsc zero, oprócz mnie 3 inne matki z dziećmi w kombikach polujących na skrawek miejsca... Oj, nie, nigdy więcej, idę pieszo. A dziś co? Pod samą przychodnią 4 miejsca wolne :D

Recently, when I was in this clinic by car, there was a real drama in the parking lot, I was already late, no free spot, apart from me, 3 other mothers with children in station wagons hunting for a piece of space... Oh, no, never again, I'm walking on foot. And today what? There were 4 spots available just at the clinic :D

Taka to przewrotność losu. Ale co tam. Ja lubię chodzić pieszo i lubię miasta bez aut.

Such is the twist of fate. But whatever. I like walking and I like cities without cars.
