[PL / ENG] Gorąca środa, która jest piątkiem / Hot Wednesday that is Friday My Actifit Report Card: June 7 2023

Środa jest dniem biurowym, pojechałam więc grzecznie rano do firmy, ale było tak sennie i leniwie - może przez tą duchotę, a może przez to, że ta środa była trochę piątkiem - że nawet szef zrejterował i polecił nam to samo.

Wednesday is an office day, so I went politely to the office in the morning, but it was so sleepy and lazy - maybe because of the stuffiness, or maybe because this Wednesday was a bit like Friday - that even the boss left early and told us to do the same.

Po żłobku odwiedziliśmy na chwilę lablac (plac zabaw), a potem poszliśmy zajrzeć co tam u kaczuszek i zrobić szybkie zakupy w tłumie ludzi przerażonych widokiem zamkniętych nazajutrz sklepów.

After the nursery, we visited the lablac (playground) for a while, and then we went to check on the ducklings and do some quick shopping in the crowd of people terrified by the sight of the shops that were to be closed the next day.

Trasa wzdłuż rozlewiska niemal mnie wykończyła. Starość, czy co? Ja uwielbiam dzikie upały i nie znam słowa "za gorąco". A tu piekło niemiłosiernie, duchota okrutna, a ja w długich spodniach bo takie mi na tyłku po pracy zostały.

The route along the backwaters almost finished me. Old age or what? I love wild heat and I don't know the word "too hot". And here, hell is merciless, stuffiness is cruel, and I'm in long pants because I have them on me after work.

Zazdrościłam kaczkom. Nie było ich wiele, ciekawe gdzie wszystkie sobie poszły? Ale te co były, chlapały się w wodzie radośnie.

I envied the ducks. There weren't many of them, I wonder where they all went? But those that were, splashed happily in the water.

Trzeba było je oczywiście dobrą chwilę poobserwować i skrupulatnie policzyć.

Of course, they had to be watched for a while and meticulously counted.
