During my career as a visual artist I did a lot of theater photography, I got my first prize from a publishing house thanks to it. Scene to the Limit was an exhibition of the play Antigonón, an epic contingent, by Cuban playwright Rogelio Orizondo and directed by maestro Carlos Díaz who directs the theater group El Público.
Durante mi carrera como artista visual realicé mucha fotografía de teatro, obtuve mi primer premio de una editorial gracias a ello. Escena al Límite fue una exposición de la obra de teatro Antigonón, un contingente épico, del dramaturgo cubano Rogelio Orizondo y dirigida por el maestro Carlos Díaz quien dirige el grupo de teatro El Público.
Explaining a play is complex and complicated, the play changes and mutates every day, it had more than 100 performances in Cuba and in the world. Here I simply leave you a visual document of what was a genius of Cuban theater. With this work the actresses graduated from art school. Being able to share behind the scenes and be part of a creative process is simply wonderful.
Explicar una obra de teatro es complejo y complicado, la obra de teatro cambia y muta cada día, esta tuvo más de 100 funciones en Cuba y en el mundo. Aquí les dejo simplemente un documento visual de lo que fue una genialidad del teatro cubano. Con esta obra las actrices se graduaron de la escuela de arte. Poder compartir detrás del escenario y ser parte de un proceso creativo es simplemente maravilloso.
