2021 NFL Power Rankings Part 3 - Top 10 Teams

Today would be the best day if my Titans were playing. But this is still a pretty epic and glorious day. I'm getting these final Power Rankings in with just a few hours to spare before this 2021 season begins.

This season is sure to be epic, there are a lot of good teams and teams with great potential. I've got my son with me and a Papa John's stuffed crust pizza scheduled to be delivered at 8 PM. I'm ready!

But anyway, these top 10 teams in my power rankings I believe have got a 56 to 96 percent chance of making the playoffs. All of these teams are good to major threats to win the Lombardi. Let's get to the ranking.

*These rankings were decided before 87 different Ravens went down with injuries....

#10 Baltimore Ravens

Two Ravens tore their ACLs just TODAY in practice, so that sucks for them. I would have had the Ravens lower had I had a crystal ball and saw these injuries coming, but it is what it is. I think at this point the Ravens have lost their three main running backs, and their starting Pro Bowl cornerback. They also lost a receiver although I'm not sure how long. They could have other injuries for all I know but I don't follow the Ravens so I'm not really sure.

The team has still got Lamar and a respectable enough defense, but we shall see how this all plays out.

I'd be kinda nervous if I were a Ravens fan, which I'm DEFINITELY not.

#9 Pittsburgh Steelers

nfl-pittsburgh-steelers-team-logo-2-300x300.png

Feels weird putting the Steelers this 'low' considering they had such a dominant start to their 2020 season. After going 11-0 through their first eleven games, they finished the year 1-4 including a pretty bad loss to the Browns in the playoffs.

But this team should be better if they're healthy and their offensive line improves. They drafted a running back in the first round in Najee Harris who looks like he's gonna be a stud.

This team will be very good in 2021.

#8 Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have been a good squad for a number of years now, basically since head coach Sean McVay arrived a few years ago.

The team was in the Super Bowl a few years ago, and you could argue the defense is, at this point in time, just as good as it was back then if not better. In addition, they have made a decent upgrade at quarterback by acquiring Matt Stafford.

It all has to come together in real life, but this team could be a championship threat.

#7 Seattle Seahawks

You could argue that I have the Seahawks a bit too high, but I have learned to not doubt this team.

QB Russell Wilson is steady and consistent as they come. They have a really good receiving core. They have an ok running game and an ok defense. They have a good coach, great home field advantage.

I see no major reason this team shouldn't be in the top 10.

#6 Buffalo Bills

The Bills could be higher, but I am not spazzing as hard over QB Josh Allen as everyone else seems to be. He's top ten talent, but that's about it. That's not a bad thing either!

The Bills are a great team. They are a real threat to win a championship.

The Bills are very well balanced. They have an awesome QB, good receivers, great defense and are pretty well coached.

I mean there is not much else to say. They can probably beat any team in the league.

#5 Tennessee Titans

I am a massive Titans fan. Just the thought of the Titans upcoming season has got me PUMPED.

I plan on creating a Titans hype post soon, so I will save most of my thoughts for then. But if this defense improves anything is possible for the Titans in 2021.

They added star receiver Julio Jones to an already elite offense. The Titans were 1-1 against the Ravens last season, played the Steelers to a very close game, and beat the hell outta the Bills last year.

Keep an eye out for my Titans hype post.

#4 Green Bay Packers

nfl-green-bay-packers-team-logo-2-300x300.png

The Green Bay Packers are obviously one of the best teams in the league. They have been dominant the past few seasons with legendary QB Aaron Rodgers playing some of his best football. They were pretty close to reaching the Super Bowl in the 2020-21 season.

The defense is really good in Green Bay to boot. There are really no major weaknesses to be seen on this team.

#3 Cleveland Browns

The Browns are good. For the first time in my entire life, this team is good.

They have key ingredients to win a championship. Elite running game, elite defense, great depth. Their QB Baker Mayfield is still young and improving, he just had his best season in 2020.

There is a chance that teams did not see the Browns coming in 2020 and perhaps teams will play them with a lot more urgency, but I'm not sure that will be enough.

The AFC is ridiculous.

#2 Kansas City Chiefs

nfl-kansas-city-chiefs-team-logo-2-300x300.png

I mean the Chiefs could easily be #1.

They have the best QB in the league in Patrick Mahomes. I have not seen a QB quite like him in my life of watching football.

The team has an elite receiving core, and solid run game.

The Chiefs are a bit offense heavy, but there offense is enough. The Chiefs are going to be a Super Bowl threat for several more years to come.

#1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

tampa-bay-buccaneers-2020-logo-300x300.png

The Bucs are Super Bowl Champs with the greatest QB of all time.

The Bucs have got a top defense and a good running game.

What else is there to say?

Just like I said with Pat Mahomes, I've never seen a QB like Tom Brady.

Not every athletic trait can be timed or recorded on camera!

Tom is a Hall of Famer if he retired 10-15 years ago. Seriously. He has the greatest combo of intelligence, preparedness, physical ability, and work ethic. He's the perfect QB.

He's got seven rings to prove it. He's going for eight unfortunately....

The season kicks off in just about an HOUR.

The wait is almost over people, LET'S GO.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!
