Don't be ashamed to weep I said
'Tis your right to mourn the loss
Of love and all it means
The water of the tears flow
My life cannot, should not be
Without
But to run in the sunlight, for pure delight
A wounded heart will heal in time
The memory lost, love sealed inside
For comfort
Truth be told.




Some days, life seems a little blurry, or not quite right. Hocus, Pocus. It is so easy to lose focus on what really matters in life, isn't it? Keep your eye on the heart of the matter.


Oh, the golden moments of life, shadowing me from reality. It whispers of change in the tide, but, it doesn’t change the fact that I cannot breathe without you, you, it will always be you.



My tree of life. I wanted to explore my connections with my family. Broken branches and all. For Mother Nature is so kind, she has developed a way to heal and grow again once more.

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.

they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?

i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.

later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,

"everywhere"
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

LOL You know me always joking around :) its al in good fun, I have an idea about somethings and no idea about others so trust me no offense was taken

One thing I have no idea about is HF21 and how its going to affect things on here I have sene quite a few saying they are going to stop posting and only curate, now that seems crazy to e, if everyone did that what would they curate

OK my mind wondered off again, a Hot humid day here today so going to take it easy at least thats my plan at this stage LOL

I am pretty minimalist in the last few days. I have no time to write and I cannot just put up a bunch of pictures without writing. It is against my code. Not really, but, I just cannot do it.

I will return to normal, and hoping the rest of the platform does too. So few people here. So sad.

I have never done a post only with photos and without text, story.
I know very well what the lack of time means and minimalist posts are the solution.

Oh, I know you haven't!!!! When I say things, they are not directed AT you, just giving my opinion on things. I find the posts of mine too short right now, but, the only other solution is to not post.

I am not even doing but 6-7 pots a week. And guess what? When I was doing three a day, the money was the same. I finally figured out why. I don't have a lot on auto vote and so people will vote you once a day. I do the same. So, with such a small pool of people, how can I post more than once to the same audience.

When I put it in a challenge, that is different, different audience.

I understood that you spoke generally, you did not refer to me. I talked about myself just thinking that you didn't always notice how my activity was.
You are right, you do not earn anything by posting more ... I would do this simply for fun but I do not have time yet. I have a few who vote for me automatically, with low value so I am really amused that I get about $ 0.30 on a post ... after more than 2 years in Steemit. That's not because I wanted to get rich ... that's because it really represents my value here. Whether I write a blog with 1500 words and 100 photos or I write a blog with 250 words and three photos. It doesn't sound right to me but it amuses me.

True! For me, I was stretching myself with my personal life, trying to get two posts in. It takes me so long to put one together, I don't have time. Truly. I wish I did, I love posting for the sheer love of putting the words together.

But, weighing the amount of time plus all the other factors, one post is what I aim for, and hardly a contest. More time that I don't have! :)

I am happy to take what I can get. But, yes! $0.30 a post? I don't expect that. You have a wonderful Tuesday!

Oh some old bugger trees have had it hard, and yet they preserve. Even proudly, against all odds. Oh the heart can be a fickle thing. Some can just lightly bounce like a butterfly from flower to flower. I have always admired that in a way. Lol. Some take more of the bull in a china shop approach. I always tended to be an all in kind of guy. Go big or go home amiright? Lol
