But why do you guys burn it, and how does that make the price go up? I did not get that?
The developers removed some of the original token supply, meaning destroyed wallets. As long as demand stays constant, less supply circulating after coins destroyed will put upward pressure on the price.
But, why?
Being hard to get do not meant that something has a value... I dont get why they do it, and why the market price goes up.
Yeah true, supply doesn't mean anything if there isn't demand. Like POB for example, the supply is very limited, however not enough people demand it and the price goes down. Shiba has a huge cult following that isn't going away, any little supply disruptions will move the price, devs know this and want to make the value go up, so they use perceptions of burning and low supply to rejuvenate the market.
The coin is more dependent on the user than the supply.

o.o but the devs are not tampering with the price on the market by burning it? That is an artificial pull up, the market will always balance itself and plumb the price after a while when they realize they have being publically tricked to buy more high than it's actual worth, if you do that on a stock market you would be prosecuted and accused, so why is it allowed with coins and tokens?
If the price of shiba comes back down I'm buying more. lol
I guess that is a good point, if people re buy it will go up again generating more demand, i think it would keep it up even if its original move was a burn.
At the end of the day it is just a meme token, so what can we expect. Demand seems top come from the possibility to make big returns farming it on SHIBASWAP, and APESWAP! Crypto is crypto, I think shiba is going to go up in the long run sure to inflation, there might be one more bear market coming up, but any weakness from that should find support.
Good point, if we take meme tokens for sure maybe Tesla motors says we can pay with them and decides to send a sample of a fisical one to the moon right next to doge... just saying XD (If he does, the market would go insane hahaha)
