De montanhas às planícies, de florestas às tundras, a vida selvagem do Canadá tem uma incrível diversidade.

A série "Reflexões da Vida Selvagem" mostra a celebração da beleza natural do Canadá e a contemplação que ela inspira.

Esta é uma das três moedas que compõe a série. É um 2016 $10 CAD pesando 15,87g com 99,99% de pureza de prata e acabamento Proof.

Foram emitidas 15.000 unidades e o preço de lançamento foi de $39,95 CAD.

O reverso, desenhado pelo artista canadense Maurade Baynton mostra um retrato da vida selvagem de uma raposa do Ártico (Vulpes lagopus) na sua jornada através do gelo e neve do norte do Canadá.

Mantida quente por seu denso casaco de inverno, a raposa tem uma expressão pensativa, ao parar na beira da água. Aí ela fica, olhando quietamente seu reflexo na água ondulada, que foi perfeitamente reproduzida através de refinadas técnicas de impressão.

O obverso mostra a conhecida imagem da Rainha Elisabete II, desenhada por Susanna Blunt.
