High gasoline prices are stressing everyone out!😳 It looks like the lady in the red sports car would have outrun the Lynden City Police, if she hadn’t run out of gas Lol!😇🤣
Today Silvertop needed more extremely expensive petro to mow our lawn, so Liz and Silvertop headed to the cheapest gasoline in town, down in the small town of Lynden Washington!😊
We always pass this one particular home in Lynden……………………
The owner covers just about every square inch in her front yard, with stuffed animals and humorous decorations like you see in the first few photos!☺️
She changes these decorations, to match the ever changing Seasons! Even during the dark, and rainy days of winters, you will find hundreds of stuffed animals soaking wet, covering the sidewalks in front of her home!😇😅
Silvertop would have snapped more photos of the vast assortment of “Yard Decorations”, but I was being followed by a very Hairy, very short tempered, local!🙄
He jumped in front of us at the gas pump, apparently “HIS” need for gasoline superceded Silvertops Lol!☺️
I am sure he has acres of forest to mow Lol!🤣
How expensive is gasoline in the Pacific Northwest you ask?
The lowest price is currently $5.29 a gallon, and that’s with two local oil refineries in our town!😮
After filling up his gas can, this unkempt naturalist from the Mountains of the Northwest, waved as he carried his gas can back into the deep, dark, forest!☺️
“Liz…. did you just see that, I think that guy just “Flipped” me off!”😇😳

The lady who does the decorations is somewhere in her 80's or older! She really enjoys, I'd say, sprucing up her yard with all of the toys! Sure to delight the child in all of us!

Honestly I'm surprised that the city didn't complain..... they seem to be picky about things like that in Lynden, but I'm glad they let her decorate as she likes @silversaver888!!😇😀

For the moment Costco, in our local grocery store that gives kickback points seems to be the cheapest!!😇
I feel you on the $5.29/gal pain. Over here in Nigeria we’re sitting at ₦1,320–₦1,395 per litre right now - about $0.89-$0.94/L. Still a jump from earlier this year when it was ₦700/L. Guess fuel pain is global!😩
That lady’s yard is amazing though. 80+ and still decorating every season? Legend status 🏆

Given the frequent shortages in electricity, gasoline and GLP I came to collect every device in each form. Though my lawn mower is even easier - human powered. It's one to push. And it's fun and training at the same time.

Those gas prices are expensive, not quite California expensive but getting there. That woman obviously enjoys her hobby and puts a lot of effort into her crafts. Great pictures in there today!
I think California, Washington state and maybe Hawaii are probably the top of the gasoline prices!🙄
Hopefully, they come back down soon, but I’m not holding my breath Lol!😇🙄
