“Step In Time, Step In Time, Come On Mateys Step In Time!”😊 My Actifit Report Card: March 24 2026

“Yep… those are Big Cat tracks!”😺
This was last year at this time of the year!😮
Liz tells me that a friend of ours, spotted a Cougar in her front yard!😳
Bear Spray won’t do the trick my friends, and I really don’t want to get close enough to a hungry Cougar, to find out if my aim is steady with my 9mm!🙄
Our son tells us that Cougar attacks are on the rise near his home in North Bend, less than 30 minutes from Seattle!
One Cat was apparently sick, but several of the other attacks were from people riding mountain bikes………
If you ever had any doubts about how fast a Big Cat can “lock on a target”, like a fast moving mountain bike, just look at any sweet little house Cat😻
Just toss a stuffed mouse in the air, and watch those eyes instantly dilate, and most times the toy mouse never touches the floor!😳😺
Someone once said that they are very Lovable, sweet, purring……KILLING MACHINES”!😬
Cougars are just much BIGGER!😺
Without snow on the ground this year, it’s hard to tell whether they have come down to lower elevations on the Mountain to hunt……Yet!
Silvertop always assumes that he is being watched, and tries to hike with several other friends!😇
Remember to stop, stand your ground, yell if you need to, if you encounter one of these beautiful animals while hiking in the Mountains!😺
Also make sure to take lots of photos for Silvertop, because I will already be safely back at the beginning of the trailhead Lol!😇😅
