There is a time, and a place for everything my friends, and cutting firewood at boulevard Park….. is neither Lol!🤣
Silvertop likes to slow down on my hikes, so I can “Take In” my surroundings as I rack up some healthy steps!😅
So it was no surprise, that Silvertop quickly spotted this “Standing dead” tree in the middle of our City Park, that was saying…..”Cut me down Silvertop Lol!😇🤣
“Silvertop…. They put people in jail for less that that……..Don’t even look at that tree!”🤔🥰
“OK honey!”☺️
Lately, I have been on a mission to cut up three trees that fell in my backyard☺️
Extracting these trees has been difficult, with two of the three trees wedged between other trees that were still standing………Under tension!😬
Difficult chainsaw cuts can turn deadly very quickly, so Silvertop always tries to error on the side of caution…………..
Years ago, someone we knew was climbing up into a tree with his running chainsaw to trim branches……..
Apparently the saw kicked back, knocking him out of the tree!
He laid on the ground for several days paralyzed, until someone finally found him and rushed him to the hospital!
He is wheelchair bound for life……….
“Liz, I think today is a good day to take a break, and head down to boulevard Park!😎
I’ll even leave my chainsaw at home, the City can cut down its own trees Lol!😇

It would make some excellent firewood, my friend! I cut down trees with machetes or an electric chainsaw, and yes, I've learned to be extremely careful. I've had some close calls. I'm glad that you're still getting some beautiful sunshine, and I hope that your Saturday is deeply satisfying! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Cutting down trees, either with a chainsaw or a machete, requires awareness of how the they are likely to fall, and to be prepared for it going that way, or not going that way! Trees can do some wild things when they go down! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
