“Is It Spring…..Yet Man?”🐸
“PEPE, I do believe I see Sunshine filtering through the trees my friend!”😎
PEPE wanted to follow the “Spring Trail” on this somewhat Sunny but cold, “Spring” day Lol!🤣
“OK PEPE….. we will hike up the “Spring Trail”, then we will follow “Buck ridge Loop” and take a break up at the wooden bench at the Ridgetop👍☺️
“Dat good plan Silbertop, you not get us lost ta day!”🐸
Not to worry my green friend, I can hike these trails with my eyes closed Lol!”😊
Just before we reached this wooden bench, we hiked past two large water tanks.
Look closely at the third photo…. do you see them a bit down the trail?😀
This is the end of the “Spring Trail”!
This trail gets its name from the Spring far down below that feeds water into these tanks, high up on the Ridge top!😇
These tanks supply household water to Keith and Lynne’s home several hundred feet below!😊
It all starts at the driven concrete well that you see in the fifth to last photo………
Water is siphoned out of this well, and travels “downhill” several hundred feet.
Then inside that un-assuming plastic tub, a powerful water “Ram” uses the down hill water pressure from the concrete driven well to cycle and pump water back UPHILL over 1,500 feet, back to the plastic water tanks on the ridge top!💪😊
From these tanks, water gravity feeds back downhill “again” to Keith and Lynne’s home several hundred feet below!😅
