Things that make you go Hmmm……..🙄
Sometimes when you step back and look at the big picture, it makes you wonder what people are thinking Lol!🤣
Silvertop and Liz were headed away from the Mountains today, I needed to pick up two pressure treated post, and an overly heavy bag of Portland cement!😅
More on that in a minute…………😇
Close to town, one of our favorite trails to hike is boulevard park.
As you follow this elevated boardwalk along the bay, you will see this large “Rock” jetting out of the water…………
Starting in 1898, and running through 1906, a tin can factory operated on the shoreline.
This wasn’t exactly an environmentally friendly time!🙄
The tin scraps continued to build up at this factory, and to dispose of the waste they simply pushed this large pile of tin out the dock doors and into the bay!😳
Hmmm……………………..
Before we left home, Silvertop went up our road to check on the telephone pole you can see in the fourth photo.
“ Liz the old broken telephone pole is just strapped to the new pole, and it looks like it’s shifting! “😮
This is how the power company “Repaired “ the broken pole last Fall Lol!🙄
It doesn’t seem to matter if it’s 1906 or 2024 not much has changed when it comes to people not quite doing a proper job!🤔
In town, at Home Depot, I started loading the bag of Portland Cement in the back of my truck.
“ Liz, why do you think they insist on making these bags exactly 94 pounds? “ 😅
“That’s to give 20 something guys something to do Silvertop Lol!”🤣
“ Silvertop I remember when one bag of Portland was $6.00 a bag, now it’s $17.57! “ 😳
Keep stacking your Bitcoin Sats, and you precious metals my friends, it looks like the “Dollar” is racing to the bottom!🙄
