Sometimes there are just no words to describe what you are looking at Lol……………..😇
I spotted this yard, very eclectically decorated in the town of Lynden Washington!😊
“Liz what do you think will happen when the rains start?”😲
I worked for many years at the local Lynden newspaper as a “Stripper”.
I’ll let you look that one up Lol…….😇
This is a very beautiful town!😊
It has a Dutch Heritage, and driving down main street you will see some very ornate victorian houses, with main street lined on both sides with mature Oak trees!
Relocating from the “High desert” of Colorado, I remember driving Main Street, and I was impressed with these majestic Oak trees!
“Liz they have trees EVERYWHERE Lol!”🥰
Downtown has dozens of small shops for tourists to browse, and the “Lynden Dutch Bakery” has handcrafted artisan pastries to satisfy your sweet tooth!😊
That’s when I spotted this red, and white, and pink cow!😳
I started wondering if the person with the eclectic yard display, was drinking milk from this very odd looking cow Lol!😬
Someone turned up the heat, it’s sitting at 91 degrees Fahrenheit, and it looks like even these two “woofers” are trying to stay cool!🥵
“Silvertop the weather forecast is for cooling weather conditions coming soon, let’s turn on the A/C and skip today’s hike!”🥰

Actually...
I have been doing this almost everyday since 08/02..
But I see it like this...
It's 5 miles away, so no long distance, and my storage is 8 - but right it does add up, anyways....
I moved a lot (more than even I knew...) Of stuff all by myself - except I got two pickup truck loads driven (not loaded or unloaded),
I had three skin cancer surgeries in this time as well, and another appointment to get stitches out,
A few VA meetings,
And...
Honestly I am thousands $$$ (which I am walking away from) ahead over there, so I took my time!😉😅😂
Otherwise beyond the mess I have now (minimal) it would be a sea of boxes for me to hop over...
But (sorry a little long winded...) I am almost done now.. Maybe 2/3 trips to the storage unit and I am done!
(I'll bet you are wondering what all I could be moving..😉😅, my last ditch effort to get out)!
Moving is never easy my friend!
 We have moved cross country twice, starting at Cincinnati, Ohio!😊

You know, believe it or not...
The long moves are easier!
I moved from 21 years in Germany back to the U.S.,
And after that from New Jersey to here Corpus Christi, TX.
When you are moving those distances there are things that you just know you will get rid of due to logistics...
Now moving 5 miles up the beach...
You can make choices.. "That" makes it harder as there are things I would have gotten rid of if I was moving back to NJ, but since I moved up the beach I hung in to - for now! 😅😂

Moving a short distance, you probably want to keep everything, moving far away you have to make that tough call and slim down what you’re moving !😇😊

But nope - that's where the storage unit came in....
I had a crazy Idea about "die-cast" cars...
And it worked a little...
I sold 503 Hot Wheels for $3060...
Sadly... I stopped selling and started collecting...
I have a lot of cars... Well over 1500!
And that was really the bulk of the move...
If I was going to NJ I was just going to go to a collector with all of them and take what I would get..
But now I still have them all!
But next week I will start shuffling them off as I have quit buying them - a few years ago!
And Yeah...
I did end up with 3 Explorer Fulls of stuff I tossed!

I sold one I bought in a bucket at a yard sale. I paid $3.50 for the bucket, I sold the car for $75!
And yeah it's Amazing to me too really since I thought I already sold a lot.
And all I did was a buy a few every payday, for awhile...
And to be honest it was a first master plan to move out of my old place..
It is not hard to turn a buck into a buck plus - depending on the car. So I figured it would make cash over time - it did. All I have now was probably pretty close to free, counting in sales so far (I guess).

But I do go over there and feed them (and buy the food) everyday but Saturday...

They wanted the one, then none, then the other...
Since the are keeping their mom it's kind of a struggle - which admittedly these folks like...
In any event I told them this...

We will reach a decision by Wednesday, and I will take Koala and one of the other two in Thursday...
