My Actifit Report Card: July 22 2023

Hey Actifitters,

As often my Saturday started late in the afternoon. The forecast said we had a couple hours before the rain would start and we were getting ready for a walk with Kaia. But before we even left the yard, the rain already started. I contemplated going anyways, thinking it would just be a short shower. But just in case, we went back in. Very good decision because less than 3 minutes later, it was pouring rain really heavy, along with thunder. Never trust the weather forecast!

And again, just an hour later, the sun was back and shining!

And with slightly cooler temperature after the storm, it was a great time to go for a long walk. As often, we started in the forest.

Trails were a bit wet but nothing we couldn't handle.

That tree that was damaged by the storm a few days ago is now completely broken and down.

It had a domino effect with several other trees falling as well. More fun for Kaia.

We also met this group of deer, they were so interested by Kaia!

The weather this summer is a bit unusual. It's almost end of July and the forest is still as lush and green as the jungle!

It was still kind if early, so we had time to make a long detour in the neighborhood, with hopes to catch the sunset at the end. Unfortunately there was no sun, probably hiding in the clouds. The colors in the sky were great though.

Of course I had to stop at one my favorite spots, near the golf course entrance.

Well, even if the day started late, it was fairly active and with enough steps to keep a clean sheet in #poprzeczka.
