My Actifit Report Card: January 22 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Finally some snow, yay!! I was complaining about it just the day before, and when I got up yesterday, late once again of course, I was surprised with a few inches of snow. Not the best quality snow if you want to go skiing, because it was wet and heavy snow, it's not cold enough yet. But it looks beautiful on the trees and it was enough to cover everything in the forest.
Of course, Kaia was ecstatic! It also made me think about Genepi, he was so crazy about the snow!
Even though we met a few other dogs and their humans, I left Kaia lead the way off-leash for some time.
But I had to leash her back when I saw several deer in the area and she caught their scent too.
I was actually showing her two deer far away, when I turned around and saw these two, less than 15 yards from us!
That was a nice walk and it feels great to finally get a bit of snow. I hope that means winter will finally start and we get much more snow soon.
Later I had dinner with some friends. We had raclette, perfect for this kind of weather, not good at all for my diet though...

Yes, it is great! It's melting a bit today, but we're supposed to get at least 3 inches of new snow on Wednesday! These deer were as surprised to see us as we were to see them !lolz
