TGIW?………….My Actifit Report Card: November 22 2023

TGIW?………A new spin in the typical saying; changing it to TGIW: thank goodness it’s Wednesday! Only for this week though! 😁

Today was the last workday for me until next Wednesday ( in office anyway) due to tomorrow being Thanksgiving in the US. This is the holiday where we give thanks for the bountiful harvest of the past year. The holiday we all eat too much and end up falling asleep due to a protein found in turkey, the mainstay of the holiday table! 🦃🦃🦃

Today, work was pretty hectic. The doc put out an ad to hire a receptionist, but didn’t tell me. I had some emails from anxious applicants. This person will be replacing his mom as she really wants to retire soon. I just hope he screens them well and we get a reliable and trustworthy person.

I was glad to see the day end and my extended off days begin. Granted, I’ll be working from home some but not until Saturday at least. Then there will be prep on Saturday and Sunday for the live training session on Monday. But for now……NO WORK! 😎👍

It’s still seriously‘shroomy season here. They pop up everywhere! Enjoy!

That’s gonna be it for now. Our Thanksgiving will be quiet as it will be just myself and @silvertop tomorrow. We will see our oldest son Michael and his wife Christine on Friday for a late Thanksgiving meal together. The main dish however is prime rib as that’s his favorite meat.
