My Actifit Report Card: August 27 2021
TGIF! π The fill in doc was busy today and I, at one point had a patient at the dispense table, one waiting, another coming in, which I directed them to have a seat in the waiting area, and an incoming phone call! π³ I was seriously busy!
After 30 minutes of R&R, we headed out for a hike. I ran into this guy in the road; the first in a very, very long time.
My little snail baby π
Itβs beginning to look a bit like fall. I found this big leaf maple leaf. If you think itβs big-just wait! I usually will find one that I wonder if it would break the Guinness book of world records. Itβs too soon yet, but Iβll keep an eye peeled for one. I know just where to look!
I think thatβs gonna be it for now. Tomorrow brings worship practice, a hike and probably coffee roasting. Iβm happy to have our sound gal back after about a year and a half. Sheβs in her 70βs but does an outstanding job with it. She was a quick learn student so Iβm sure sheβll remember once she starts again. Kind of like riding a bicycle π² Barb is awesome!π₯°
Take care, enjoy your weekend and stay @actifit healthy! π£πππβοΈππ»ππββ¬ππ΄

That is one big leaf or one small foot π, busy life with plenty to keep you enjoying each moment. Have a great weekend.
Thank you @joanstewart! My foot is anything but small! The leaf was big, but there are bigger to be found. I'll post one here in the near future. Last year, I found one big enough to be the front side of a shirt! It was crazy big! Thanks for stopping by and take care!
Enjoyment stomping through fallen leaves inspecting size and colours for fun @elizabethbit
Indeed! You never know when that really big leaf, big leaf maple falls from the trees above and lands right in your path! I really enjoy fall!ππ
We have many small leaves falling now just prior to our Spring, like confetti floating to the ground.
You should see my backyard! It looks like someone just threw a bunch of 'leaf confetti' on the ground. These trees are ash and alder and the leaves don't turn very pretty colors unfortunately. However the deer see them as 'candy', lol! Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!
Now I look forward to seeing the deer enjoying the candy around your home @elizabethbit
They tend to be a bit scarce at times as 3-4 years ago, we had a family of cougars who literally wiped out 98% of our deer population! It was terrible! The deer are making a comeback, and I'm guessing the cougar family split as the youngsters grew up. We've had on cougar siting this year on our trails thus far, so maybe the deer stand a chance to replenish. However if I do see some in the back scarfing up candy, I'll snap the picture!
Having big cats in the wooded regions they tend to run amok, good to hear the deer numbers are increasing, such a lovely docile animal. Look forward to the pictures.

Wow, that is some cloud formation you caught on camera!
We do get some interesting clouds here. I saw some the other day I would have loved to photograph, but couldn't as I was driving!
Is it not a missed opportunity... to be able to photograph the clouds? It doesn't repeat.
But can you imagine if we had to stop what we were doing each time? Why not?
There is no hurry... LOL πππππ!
Very true, but more difficult to do while driving, lol! Take care sis!
Other than pumpkins, was there a time that you absolutely have to stop and take a photo π?
On hikes, you bet! In a car, once I can remember. We were headed to Bellingham and on the way, spotted a wispy, multicolored cloud in the sky like a rainbow. Lot's of this type of cloud formation is also accompanied by a hum. We were on a 2 lane highway with traffic, so I can't recall hearing it. It was quite stunning though!
How about you?
No, I never did stop, that is why my cloud photos are all taken near the house, lol!!!
