Carmilla and Nathan's Wedding Cruise
Hello everyone. I have an exciting new project I wish to share. Shortly you will receive your personal invitation to attend the upcoming wedding for Carmilla and Nathan. When I heard about their upcoming nuptials and plans for their wedding weekend, I volunteered to assist with their arrangements.
That is my gift to them. I created the wedding invitations. Also, I assisted with the decoration of their venue at the Surfside Marina.
How exciting to have a weekend wedding cruise. It's perfect for their personalities. I know their guests will be thrilled because it's an exclusive all-paid cruise with activities for all tastes.
The date is fast approaching. I immediately got started.
I decided to create two different collages, then merge them to create the invitation. I used Canva to commplete the project.
Collage 1: THE VENUE
I chose to start with the venue. My thinking was that it would take the most time to complete. I would include the completed collage for the setting of the wedding inside the invitation so that guests could see their adventure on the weekend of the wedding.
Fortunately, @shaka provide me with a nice image for the venue.

I decorated the outdoor section of the image that will serve as the area where the ceremony will take place. The location is the Surfside Marina. Carmilla's colors are purple, red, and white. Nathan didn't have any input, so I chose a blue carpet for him to feel comfortable among all the shades of feminine decor. He seemed relaxed after our conversation.
To the event location, I included the following images:

Here is the completed wedding venue. I hope you like the way it turned out.
Now I can begin work on the actual wedding invitation.
Collage 2: THE INVITATION
I located a beautiful photo frame I thought would be perfect to house both the couple's pre-wedding photo and the image of the decorated venue.

I removed the background and added my own text with the couple's names, the date, and occasion.
I then added the following images:

Finally, I uploaded and added my completed venue image to the 2nd circle.

Hello @daniella619 Thanks for taking the time to view my collage. I appreciate it. It's a small wedding. That's why the couple is paying for all their guests to go on the cruise with them.
On second thought, they could have had the wedding on the cruise ship, but they wanted a seaside event.

Nice idea, but what truly I like is how you decorated your post overall. It's really well balanced, not too much info on one spot, nice breaks, lovely story and good presentation all in all. Well done :)
