Greetings
This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.
Now, let's get into this week's showcase.
@writermaximus - THE STUPIDEST SUPERHERO WEAKNESSES
For some unfathomable reason, some superheroes had the stupidest weaknesses ever.
I'd like to imagine the writers were either high, drunk or possessed while writing these things.
You'll see mighty heroes with the ability to destroy cities be taken down by something ridiculous.
Now, there are some that are not that bad, and there are some that are just atrocious.
And today, we're going to be discussing the stupidest of them all.
So without further doo doo, it's time for the breakdown.
If these supermen could have such weaknesses, we would definitely do better than them when we aren't out saving the world as Heroes. Being a superhero means having an annoying weakness.

It is not as if , he does anything bad to anyone when he gets drunk, but he gets so intoxicated that you can barely differentiate between him and a mad man down the street 😅. There was a day he got drunk and woke up at night and swept the whole compound, washed the dishes and washed all the dirty clothes in the house by midnight till day break hehehe
His uncle almost got on the history book of drunks but his achievement met an end early enough thanks to the right kind of lady he brought home.

@luckydrums - Funny ways people react when they take alcohol
Well, guess who I saw this evening knocking at the door of a closed boutique store and screaming that they open the door for him to come in? Yes, you guessed right. The same man from the bar. In his words, "who is inside? Open the door. Gabriel, I'm back. Come and open this door." Angrily, " where did they leave the house and go to this morning? I'm certain he'll be spending the night on the entrance of the boutique.

@humbe - Home trained Food-loving Maniacs!
Little food lovers sat with a mountainous plate which could qualify to be a platter for three. The boy was trained to eat until he burps as a sign of satiety. Seeing the boy munching, my little brother was envious and he went to get more food. My parents were quite strict and we were always warned that overeating is greed and a sin- but I always thought it was their smart way to save on food and toilet paper. But that day they were lenient to their bony fish son to have a mountainous plate too. Bony fish ate more than half of the mountainous plate and started panting.
The description of the characters in this anecdotes is what makes it standout, so realistic but funny. You should check it out, there's a message for you guys who don't eat much.

@cheeamaka - SEMI-RANT: FOOD, JAPA, NIGERIA.
Now, to the reason for this semi-rant.
So yesterday, I saw this tweet from a person I assume is a newbie japa-rian that reads;
"when you leave Nigeria, you'll realize that Nigerian eating culture is pure gluttony. Your body doesn't need that much food, just killing yourself slowly."
I laughed. See, with the recent happenings, I'll advise anyone to eat at least seven wraps of fufu(baked cassava flour) and wash it down with cold zobo. Why? Just check this
This would either be a part 2 or a counter post of @humbe post, all the same, it's about food and eating too much but she gave a valid reason to over feed as a Nigerian.

@ovey10 - How Not To Collect A Wrong Number From A Lady
I walked up to her and spoke to her, I asked her of her phone number and she called out the eleven digits and I decided to call it back to her hearing, I was putting up some reactions as if I didn't get the number when she mentioned them first. I interchanged a digit and she stopped me immediately to correct me, I still interchanged the last digit and the same thing happened. I went home excited that it worked out, and when I got home I tried the line it rang.
It didn't work for him but it could work for you, says the writer. Just make sure to follow the manual given and your phone call book will be filled with unanswerable numbers.
