Moments at El Retiro Park / Momentos en el Parque del Retiro 🌿📷

Today I just had to share these beautiful photos from my walk through El Retiro. This park always feels like a little escape inside the city, and every corner has something magical. I started at the Monumento a Alfonso XII, with its grand columns and the water reflecting the sunlight so perfectly. It’s one of those places where you can sit for a while and just breathe, watching the boats pass by and feeling the calm around you.

Then I wandered toward the Fuente de la Alcachofa, near the Puerta de España and the pond. I don’t know why, but fountains always make me feel peaceful, like time slows down a little. The details on this one are so beautiful, and standing there for a moment made my morning feel lighter.

And of course, I couldn’t leave without enjoying the view at the Estanque Grande del Retiro. The soft breeze, the movement of the water, the distant voices of people enjoying their day… it was the perfect moment to take a few photos and capture that feeling. I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed being there.

Hoy tenía que compartir estas fotos tan bonitas de mi paseo por El Retiro. Este parque siempre se siente como un pequeño respiro dentro de la ciudad, y cada rincón tiene su magia. Empecé en el Monumento a Alfonso XII, con sus columnas enormes y el agua reflejando la luz del sol. Es uno de esos lugares donde una puede sentarse un rato y simplemente respirar, viendo pasar los botes y sintiendo la calma alrededor.

Luego caminé hacia la Fuente de la Alcachofa, cerca de la Puerta de España y del estanque. No sé por qué, pero las fuentes siempre me dan paz, como si el tiempo se hiciera más lento. Los detalles de esta son preciosos, y estar ahí unos minutos me alegró la mañana.

Y por supuesto, no podía irme sin disfrutar la vista del Estanque Grande del Retiro. La brisita, el movimiento del agua, las voces lejanas de la gente disfrutando su día… fue el momento perfecto para tomar unas fotitos y guardar ese sentimiento. Espero que les gusten tanto como yo disfruté estar ahí.
