Three Games, Three Tracks - Pt. 21

Getting old is weird and not easy. My mind has been racing lately. All my brain tends to do is think of worse case scenarios. Not even future worse case scenarios all the time, but sometimes even past scenarios. How messed up is that? It's really not fun. But all I can do is shrug my shoulders and try to work and hope for better days.

I think I may be due for a night of binging some chess matches to just halt my mind and use this ridiculous energy towards the game. I enjoy using Lichess for sure, but I still like the chess.com app as well. It was the original place I fully found chess, so it will always sort of be a comfort for me.

I also really like rapid games, again, it may simply be because that was the first mode I played. I enjoy the slower pace. The tournaments in blitz mode are cool and I'm getting used to that vibe as well don't get me wrong, but yeah. When I play rapid I can play music or even watch a podcast and still kinda know what's going on. Blitz is good for a change of pace for sure though, it's nice to have the best of both worlds.

A$AP ROCKY - LVL
I often, VERY often say a song is nostalgic but this song is truly utterly the definition of nostalgic for me. A full year pretty much semi on my own at the time this album came out. I listened to the whole album and was surprised at how much I liked it. Winter 2013, crazy. Well I have felt on my own for a long time prior to this album's release but that's a different deep rabbit hole. I don't know if I give myself enough credit for how far I've come. Well, right now I haven't exactly made it far but whatever LOL.

A$AP ROCKY is a top ten rapper of all time for me personally, and he's close to top five. I may have to make a list one day. A$AP is way more well rounded than people give him credit for if I had to rank his rap stats like flow, lyrics, beats etc. But what stands out for me with A$AP is his pure charisma and cadence. He's like a comedian that can tell a fairly basic joke, but deliver it so well that it's just funny. The dude is popular but still underrated.

Xavier Wulf - Smoke
Xavier Wulf is really in his own lane. Crazy unique style. Haven't heard this one in ages. The sample is also ELITE.

Bones - WhiteNoise
Bones with his classic monotone voice, but silly smooth flow!

My random video of the day is Los and his dad reacting to '5 Horrible Ways Animals Can End You!'. Too funny, Los's dad's face was KILLING me, man was shook!!! Might have to re-watch this right now.

When in doubt, play some chess.

I'll try not to re-share music I've already posted in this series but if I do this series over years, which I very well could, I'll likely forget if I shared a song over time.
