We Are ALIVE! Monday, January 16th, 2023 Fancy Banquet
Hello HIVIANS! We are ALIVE and thriving this time offblock, and I am happy to pop my head in and give an update. It's been a very good week, time freed up for IRL activities, but I have to confess I miss my daily blogging. We'll be back to daily blogging after January 28th. But before that, posting today and again next Monday the 23rd.
We were invited to a baby shower at a country club, this place is like a giant castle!
The food was excellent, company exquisite and the venue stunning.
We explored the club a bit and discovered some really interesting rooms, especially this one with a "cozy corner" complete with fireplace and library.
The children especially enjoyed the spiral staircase!
It was very cold outside, but the radiant heat by the windows kept the building comfortably warm. The children played games by the window.
It was an honor and privilege to enjoy this time among some wonderful friends and family in an interesting place with interesting people.

This reminds me of 2007. I was also in a banquet (as a kid), after I finished the elementary school. The banquet was at the house of one of my classmates. If I am remember correctly, then I have a few physical photos about it in one of my albums. If I will find the photos, then I will upload them.
