We Are Alive! May 30th, 2022 Memorial Day
Today we (in the US) celebrate Memorial Day, the day we remember fallen soldiers who fought in various US wars. Traditionally, it's also become the "first day of summer" as most families will have celebrations together at parks and homes, popular day to BBQ.
Made a "flag cake" with strawberries and blueberries, it's a family favorite.
It was a perfect Monday for an extended weekend - the weather was hot and it was a good day for swimming.
Even Moses played in the water today - he's feeling better than he did yesterday.
It was an enjoyable day. For my readers in the US, did you do anything special for the national holiday?
