A day in my Life
Today was one of those days that rarely happens in my life because it's not everyday you wake up in the morning and go celebrate a friend's birthday with him at his place.
But I got up this morning feeling good, because I knew that I wasn't going to spend the whole day indoors. I and another friend had made plans to go see this mutual friends of ours and based on how everything went today, that was probably the best decision I took today.
Unlike other days when getting ready to leave my house always feels like work, today felt a bit different because it was something I was looking forward to. My friend and I had both got dressed, then we headed out to begin our journey.
We got to our destination sometime around noon, and we immediately started having fun. The first thing we did after wishing him a happy birthday was to turn on his PS5 and just start the fun part of the day with that.
The first game we played was PES, which happens to be a game I'm kinda good at, and it was really fun to play. Then we moved over to Mortal Kombat, a game I don't play at all, and like you expect, I was beaten like a thief on that one.
Then we proceeded to cut the cake and share some drinks, unfortunately I was enjoying the moment so much that I forgot to take pictures of either the drinks or the cake. But take my word for it when I say it was a fun gathering that I wished wouldn't come to an end because it made me realized how much I've missed a gathering like this.
Anyway, it's currently 7:40pm and I just got home, and there's currently nothing I want more than to have a goodnight rest. So goodnight, and I hope your day was as fun as mine.
It has been long I actually played a game like PES with friends, this is one of the sweetest experience, although for me I am not good at playing PES, those my friends are way too good, they end up Beating me with the highest gap margin you could ever imagine😂, it was still fun though.
I haven't played in months now.. The way they beat me here eh when we first started.. It was so embarrassing 😂😂.. But it's a game I'm good at and it didn't take long for me to get back in my element and just start winning.
Seems like you had a good day and you enjoyed the day with your friends. Sometimes enjoying such a day is good for mental health.
