Hardwork and humility attract Opportunities

There is no man on earth that can say they have not had their own share of opportunities, but not everyone can boast of utilizing it to the max or using it to their advantage.....

I have had my own share of opportunities, i was able to utilize some while i fumbled big time in others that i got heart broken but life goes on and hope keeps me alive knowing that there are more opportunities to be encountered.....

During my time as a teacher, i got a lot of opportunities that my colleague was in need of which they didn't see, i was blessed with a lot of parent that want me to start taking their children private lessons, i even got more than enough to the extent that i teach on sundays and even had to reject some of this lessons, there was even a time i was over whelmed with work and i wanted a colleague to replace me in some of those lessons but after a week, the parent said it is me they want that i should come and continue that the children doesn't want a replacement..

Have you ever worked everyday for more than a year? like no time to travel, no time for vacation, it is from one work to another, even weekend is work day, i even had to manage time so i can have the chance to wash my clothes because once i leave home by 7a.m, i won't get back home till almost around 8 p.m in the night, i would be so tired already and all i had to do is sleep immediately only to wake up as early as possible again to work the next day!

I was blessed with those lessons opportunities and i grab enough for myself, but before you say oh you are really blessed, you need to know i must have done something to trigger that blessings....No good deeds go unrewarded...

When i started teaching, the first lesson i got was from my sister's friend and she was paying me 3k for two children which was almost like paying nothing, that was not an opportunity, but i am a very considerate person and seeing that she really needed a home lesson teacher, i took the offer, the second lesson i got was also from my sister's friend, this one didn't offer to pay me anything but guess what? i still take it!

It was like i was doing those two lessons for free and God saw my heart and blessed me with a good paying one.... A rich woman noticed my skills while taking the second woman children the free lesson and she talked to the woman that she would love me to start taking her children too at home, when the woman told me and ask me to go and see the woman, we discussed and she offered to be paying me 10 000 naira monthly, now that is an opportunity and i grabbed immediately...

The first woman paying 3k also have a friend who needs a lesson teacher and she introduced me to the woman, she offered to pay 8k for both her children which i grabbed again! Another golden opportunity but i won't have gotten those opportunity if i had rejected to teach the first two that brought me a bad deal..... So that is it.. Most of those crying that they are in search of lesson but not seeing, they actually saw some they could take but they reject it because they think the pay is not good enough, but they failed to understand it is smaller blessings that triggers the bigger one...

I didn't want to stop the other two lessons because i now have two that pays good, so i started taking the four lessons and from there, more people knew me as a lesson teacher and wanted me to take their children, i got another one paying me 12 k monthly and since i had no time to spare for them, the mother insisted i can take them with me to other places i teach, how amazing lol....

I was earning a lot back then in the school, i was taking two classes because a teacher left and i decided to help but when the proprietress realized i was doing a good job with both classes, she was not eager to employ another teacher, i didn't complain either as i don't like complaining, i was also taking them computer in the school but one advantage is that i was the one taking the student in the two class lesson so the money was mine as well... Another Opportunity ...

If work could kill, i should be dead by now, i really used myself, work, work and work but i was earning good..My total income in a month back then was above 50 k as a teacher while my colleagues with better and higher qualifications were getting 20 to 25 k...

At the end, i found hive and had to quit teaching and all the private lessons, i love the teaching profession so much, i love the kids and i guess i have been with them for so long which is making me act like them too lol...

Opportunity lost

It doesn't hurt anymore but i was so pained that day, it was august 1st last year, i sold 1000 hive at 0.36 and within 15 minutes hive pumped to 0.8, i was so so pained like what the fuck just happened, if only i had waited 15 more minutes! That was an opportunity lost but life goes on, that was not my first mistake and it won't be the last... I have lost bigger opportunities!

In 2021, during the solana chain bull run, i was amonth the lucky ones opportune to get the airdrops from other project built on the solana blockchain, i got lot of coins that rugged but the most painful was the frog and holdana coin

I got 2000 frog coins and within a short time, it pumped to 9 000 dollars, i could have sold but i was so optimistic and dreamt about it hitting 1 00 000 dollars, the dream didn't come to pass as the coin rugged at the end and i lost everything, i lost a great opportunity to cash out millions...

The same happened with holdana, the coin pumped to 6 000 dollars, i could have sold that too, but again i am a dreamer and i lost that too and the coin dipped badly and never rised again.... But again LIFE GOES ON
