Quote of the Day

“Reality leaves a lot to the imagination" - John Lennon

I have started this competition in the hope that this will prove to be a fun and interesting way to get people to interact and engage with each other here on #proofofbrain

It could be about anything really. Ranging from a memorable quote to a story or maybe just a random question about life itself. Literally any subject is open for discussion but I will try and not let it get too weird !

You are also welcome to talk about any other subject you like.

To enter the competition you simply have to make any type of comment on this post and I will do a daily random draw for 3 lucky winners.

You are not required to Upvote, Re-Blog or Follow but it would be nice.

Prizes

1st Place = 5 POB + 1 Upvote
2nd Place = 1 POB + 1 Upvote
3rd Place = 0.50 POB + 1 Upvote

Congratulations To Yesterdays Winners

RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs

Thanks for reading. #rtotd

Ah interesting topic! But I must say this is impossible to say since the question involves two huge questions: what is right and what is wrong? And do things move in a progressive manner? Both of which are huge discussions. There are quite some people who believe that the evolution of Humanity: humans will get better and more advanced. Myself I am not a believer of this theory, I believe that humans have both in their nature: good and bad and sometimes we show more of the one thing and sometimes more of the other. Usually we show both at the same time... I think the same can be said about this current time. We are more interconnected then ever, but are also ruining our planet for example.... Difficult one!

Yes, this is a question where the definitions of the words matter.
But if a generic answer is desired.... I'm going with "both" :p
There are aspects of what we're doing that are "right" and aspects we're doing that are "wrong", but that's my opinion, not something I can back up easily with a couple links. I believe a select few power hungry elites are currently attempting (as they have for hundreds/thousands of years) to get a hold over the rest of humanity. Depopulation may be in the cards. I see that as pretty negative. But I also think it will be a time of opportunity for those of us who believe in freedom. As always, we're going in both the right and wrong direction at the same time.

Definitely ,but I just have to come back and attend to this question after finishing my assignment ,but I just decided to at least leave a foot print of myself here first.

It is going to be interesting talking the level at which humanity is heading presently,I wish I don't forget to come back here

Great question. Perhaps it is not so much one direction or the other than we are headed in but rather a continuous cycle within a cycle. A lot of things move in cycles; stock markets, weather patterns, the sun, so why not humanity? Live die repeat...like the film. Perhaps we are destined to progress and evolve to the point at which we should take pause and reflect, but due to greed and desire for instant gratification, we push the boundaries and take too much of the pie, until things fall apart, and we are forced to reassess, start afresh and rebuild. Perhaps we are destined to destroy our planet over and over and it is destined to heal over and over. Perhaps one day we may get things right and break the cycle forever. Perhaps one day it will be too late, and it will no longer matter. Just some musings after a long day :-) thank you btw for the random win yesterday. It was a nice surprise.

I realize I might sound like an old grumpy grandpa when I say this, but I think humanity is spoiled and losing sight of what's important. Not every person and not all generations. But I see a lot of things wrong with my generation (millennials) and am afraid this will get worse. But who knows maybe it will work out and balance itself long-term.

Anyway I'm back from holiday and gonna try to engage again daily, at least more frequently again :-)
