Hi Everyone,

It's been awhile since my last post as we have been moving around hoping to move to the bigger cities for Christmas and New Year. It's a busy period in Japan even though it isn't a public holiday so we decided to move to the city from the countryside to experience a busier Christmas. The countryside is a little too quiet and I think the kids would love to do some cool stuff in the bigger cities.

We spent Christmas in Osaka and the first thing the kids said was it's too busy here, too many people. Many friends have reached out to see if we had KFC for Christmas or some sort of fried chicken for Christmas and the answer is yes! We didn't get around to book the chicken ahead of time so our backup plan was to get them from Family Mart or Lawson as they have Christmas chicken packs that can be bought when we walk up. I love their chickens so no objections if we get it there in case there is no KFC.

Funny I was walking through a local mall and KFC was opened on Christmas but they only allow takeaway, no eat-in to move people in and out very quickly due to COVID. I bought a whole heap of food and some KFC and took them home for lunch. By late afternoon, we went to Yodabashi to get a massage machine as my shoulders are hurting from carrying luggage to Osaka. Lots of people are around on Christmas Day, unlike in Australia, everything is closed.

After dinner, we went to walk around to check out some Christmas lights and saw a short Harry Potter themed Christmas tree presentation at Osaka Grand Fort which plays every 20 minutes until Christmas day ends. The kids miss their friends and family on Christmas day and we have sent messages to everyone. We still have lots of time here in Japan, once I get some time, will definitely be sharing more with you all.

Beautiful Japan. I'm always fascinated on the country. I love the clarity of the camera too.

Happy holidays. I wonder what is the taste of KFC's chicken since I haven't yet experience eating it haha. In our country, there's no more restriction in dining in haha just sharing!
