Sharing it

Two long exposure and one "normal" photographs of one of the biggest waterfalls in Europe. Iceland.

To have had the opportunity to see it was awesome. To be there with a couple of friends and share that joy was just great.

But to have all that, along with some of my best photographic equipment and my tripod and to have had a good amount of time so I take as many photos as I liked, was just priceless. I keep wondering, as this majestic waterfall is located in the Southern part of Iceland, how would that look with its surroundings, covered in snow? Perhaps with the rising world temperatures, we will never know...

Here are those dreamy visuals to jump-start the weekend! :)

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

You are kindly invited and more than welcome to join "The Photographic Society" Community on HIVE here: @hive-142821, where photographers and enthusiasts share not only their works but also discuss concepts and techniques, and also some hot topics and news about our favorite art.

Thank you for your time and support, please check out below few other ways to encourage me in my endeavors and stay in touch!

That´s a big one indeed! Looks even more cool with that "private" rainbow down there :) Awesome shots.

I definitely fell in love with that cascade!! I tend to appreciate pictures of nature in colors! But sometimes the photographer is so good taking the pictures and in the edition, that achieve powerful scenarios in monochrome even if the nature is pretty intense.

Thank you!
In that particular case the colors, mainly of the clothes of the people around were just spoiling the whole picture ;)

You see very few black and white photos of Iceland, so it’s refreshing to see. I can imagine the sound of the water must be pretty epic too?

Thank you!
Indeed, it's epic. To a level where I couldn't hear my own thoughts when close to it ;)

Wow, so beautiful! It looks a lot like Aponwao, a waterfall that we have here in Venezuela that measures about 100 meters :)

Oh, I checked out online photos of that waterfall, it really looks similar, of the same scale :)
Indeed, they are both amazing and so impressive and beautiful!

La combinación de la fuerza y el poder de la cascada con la belleza natural del arcoiris me deja con la boca abierta.
