Botanical Garden walk turns into...

... well, I am not sure into what exactly, to put it shortly. :) Decide for yourself. ;)

The Botanical Garden in Balchik, Bulgaria, is quite an interesting beautiful place with amazing and dramatic history, that I visited several times.

I also had the pleasure to spend a week there in a hotel suite located at a place where I was seeing only the sea in front of me. First thing in the morning. Those days are behind me but I won't forget that feeling. I am so grateful about that time.

So I would love to visit the garden many, many new times again.

There are just a couple of things I hate about this place, for instance the fact everyone must buy two separate entrance tickets from two separate kiosks (yeah, an absolute madness and nonsense), but everything else is just magical.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. I share in your frustration of having to buy two entry tickets from different kiosk. I believe there is a story and a history behind that.

Next time you visit kindly ask questions and share with us the reason it is so.

It's a long story indeed. Just the land owned by one state company and the buildings owned by another state company and the lack of will and desire from all the governments to resolve it. I bet the issue is mainly corruption driven.

It is actually your pictures that are magical here! 😊
I have mixed feelings toward this place. Probably because of its history. And yes, because of these two separate tickets and also - if you get tired and need to have a break while walking through this large area, want to eat, drink something or whatever, the moment you go out of its boundaries, you are not allowed to come back with the same ticket (which is also not very cheap for the standards here).
Anyway, it is a peculiar place and you have managed to present it again in a unique way - through your own eyes and camera, that always see things... well, I don't know how you yourself see things, but I see them magical ❤️
