Let's Play some HOGWARTS LEGACY! | Plus Controversy explained!
Hogwarts Legacy is a game that I have been following very closely. If you are subscribed to me over on YouTube you'll know that I made multiple videos about the controvsy that surrounded this game. Because of this and the way people were acting I decided that I would pre order this game, and it is the very first game I have streamed!
The Controversy
So everyone knows who JK Rowling is. While recently she has been under fire for making "transphobic" comments. These "transphobic" acts ranged from showing support of a terminally ill lesiban activist who believed that they shouldn't be called a bigot for not wanting to date someone who once had the male apendages, to her correcting an article that posted Menstrating people instead of women. All of this earned JK Rowling the ire of The WOKE MOB.
People sought to destroy anything that she was involved in. They dug through every little thing to try to paint her as a big ole meanie, and they even make ridiclous claims like how Harry Potter, and Hogwarts Legacy is anti semitic as they have goblins in them, and nazi propaganda showed Jews as golbins.

Nevermind the fact that these people have no problem calling actual jewish people Nazi's.
So people called for boycotts of the game, they claimed, and I am not exgerating, that if you buy this game you are killing trans people. I've been accused of this, as long with being a racist, homophobe, transphobe, anti semite, all for buying this game. But to be honest, when you speak up against the MSM ideas, like I do, it's something you get use too, especially over on twitter.
These boycotts worked out perfectly. And since this is the internet I will point out that is sarcasm. People pushed back against Cancel Culture, and against the threats that people were making against those who thought about streaming the game. Hogwarts Legacy sold exteremly well and broke twitch records for the most watched games, with it reaching 1.1 million viewers at one point.

Why I bought it
I don't like cancel culture, nor do I like the woke crowd. I think both ideas are a cancer to society. Before the cancel mob went after JK Rowling I had no interest in the HP books, but after all the backlash she got for what was some very tame comments, I decided that I needed to support her so bought the books. Right now I am only on Order of the Phoenix. However, I bought the game for a few reasons,
- was because I wanted to,
- Was to piss off some wokies
- Because the last new game I bought was Saints Row
- I wanted to test out my new monitor
So I figure with me speaking up on the situation surrounding this game so much that I would do my first ever stream on my channel! Now I did run into a few problems with the first livestream not playing desktop audio, and after that, and after dealing with an issue with my mic, everything was golden, or so I thought. The stream went well but I forgot to increase the Bitrate to account for me recording in 4k, and as a result some scenes become pixalated.
Now the past few days have been a bit exciting for me as I am rounding the 1k mark over on my youtube channel! It's nuts to think that 1000 people enjoy listening to opinion on things! I do plan on posting more livestreams of Hogwarts Legacy and plan on doing more in the future! So if you like what you see, make sure to hit that subscribe button for some more gaming content!

In truth, people did not allow themselves to be extorted and did not fall to threats. If they ask for respect and are respected, they must also respect the contrary opinions. It is a two-way street.
No group or tendency can be allowed to live by blackmailing the rest. You can't live in peace like this.
On the other hand, I see many people commenting that it is a very good game. That's great.

Yeah... I'm expecting this game to be review-bombed once it officially releases, simply because of the "woke crowd." It's an amazing game!!! But no. The masses are going to give it a big fat negative because transphobic hurrrrrrrr.
Then there's the other side who are going to review-bomb it because your character's skin colour can't be pale enough in the character creator. And you're referred to as a "they". And because there's a character that looks like a chick with a dude's voice.
I'm just over here, enjoying my witch, lol.
I made a joke about this during my stream! I was like " oh no they couldn't say him or her because they might offend people xD"
It's nuts, it's like a lose lose when it comes to this game because people are complaining about the trans character in it who is Sirona Ryan. Some people who never played the game swears up and down the name is pronounced Sir Ryan, and that the character is transphobic.
These types of people remind me quite a bit of the trolls of 2013, the comments they make usually make no sense at all but they always try to attack something specific.
I would say that trying to discredit a game in this way is a fallacy, even more so considering that this is what may be one of the best games this 2023 has to offer. Although most likely these types of people don't have the slightest clue about Gaming :P
Congratulations on being close to 1k followers. I remember just a few months ago when I subscribed I think you weren't even hitting 500, it's great to see you're doing well.

And ya a lot of the people back around 2013 or so like Anita Sarkeesen paved the way for this type of culture in gaming. A lot of the same people who are screaming and shouting now are the same people who screamed and shouted because of "gamergate"
I mean if you don't like JK Rowling, ya don't like her, but don't be trying to make other people feel bad for enjoying things in the HP Universe.
Wow excellent game and what excellent graphics! It really is a game that represents quite well the Hogwarts experience, it's almost like being inside!

I can't wait to play this game. It seems like I have been waiting forever for it. I don't care about all the controversy behind the game. People nowadays just want to hear themselves complain about anything. I just want to cast spells and be a wizard.

The game is pretty decent so far!
I don’t really use social media other than hive, so I won’t have to worry about that. I’m glad that you are enjoying it. I am gonna be out of town tomorrow so I won’t be able to play until the 14th. That should give it time for any patches that need to come out to smooth gameplay.
For PC I'm not seeing too many issues so far! Not sure how it will be on ps5 though!
