The Golden Finish: Triumphing Despite the Odds

Finally, I can finish the season in the Gold League.

Since the rules changed and the cards that can be used in Modern Rank were altered, I've had a hard time winning my games.

First, I had to get used to the new gameplay, and at the same time, the Rebellion Edition came in, which I needed to learn how to counter. Then recently, it's become possible to play Max Level Cards in any League.

This has made it harder for me because I don't rent the more expensive cards.

Even though the cards I use are max level, they still can't compare to the good cards that are expensive to rent. I can only afford to rent one summoner per element.

If you're wondering why, it's because I can't recoup the rental cost, and I don't want to play and end up losing money.

The truth is, I don't really recoup my rental costs, but with the way I'm renting now, the loss is small, so I just ignore it since I enjoy playing.

So now, I've reached exactly the level of the Gold League. Even though I still have energy, I stopped playing to avoid dropping back down and not being able to return to Gold.

It's better to always finish in a higher League at the end of the season so that when the new season starts, your rating reset is higher.

I haven't played much this season, so I'll get fewer Glint.

My rating will reset to 1400, making it easier for me to increase it.

So for now, I'll just wait for the season to end and play again later.
