Hi,

Today, the world is celebrating Easter - a beautiful and meaningful festival for Christians. I love this day not because I born as a christian but because I love teachings of Lord Jesus. I seldom go to church, but today I went and prayed for peace and harmony in our troubled world.

Humanity is struggling with wars, greed, pollution and turmoil. There is hardly any corner of the world untouched by sufferings. In some countries, people face war, terrorism and the collapse of law and order. Others are burdened by economic instability or shortages of essential supplies. These hardships fall heaviest on women and children. They are not responsible for these conflicts, yet they have to bear the worst of the consequences. We have failed to make this world a safe and joyful place for innocent children. Human trafficking is also another grave wound on humanity.

Lord Jesus preached love, compassion and peace. Yet many of His followers today act in ways that are totally opposite to his teachings. Greed and violence have overshadowed the message of the great teacher and reformer who sacrificed Himself for the good of humanity. Jesus never dies. He always guides humanity but we need to open our mind to grasp his masseges.

May the Lord Almighty guide us. May this world become a better place for all. Let us strive to build a world of peace and harmony. That would be the truest tribute to Jesus.
