Hello everyone and happy saturday. Today is regarded as the rest day, a worship day; the sabbath!!! Let's look at the world for some historical events....

Gentlemen, on this day in 1637, the table knife was invented by France's Cardinal Richelieu; he allegedly had the points or tips rounded so as to prevent dinner companions from using knives to pick their teeth. !LOL. Interesting fact really. And this explains the reason why the edges of table knives are rounded!

Do you also know that on this day in 1917, in the vicinity of Fátima, Portugal, three kids—Lucia dos Santos, her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto, claimed to have seen the Virgin Mary.

Now, for music lovers, hope we still remember Stevie Wonder? Stevie Wonder whose original name is Stevland Hardaway Judkins, also called Stevland Hardaway Morris but renamed Stevie Wonder by Berry Gordy, Jr., the president of Motown Records was born on this day in 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan, U.S.A. Blind from birth, Stevie Wonder is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, a child prodigy. Happy birthday 🎂🎉 Stevie.

Still on this day in 1981, Pope John Paul II was shot and critically injured during an attempted assassination in St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, by Turkish national Mehmet Ali Agca.

Finally, on this day in 1846, the U.S. Congress unanimously voted to declare war on Mexico as a result of growing hostilities between the two countries that had been sparked by the annexation of Texas by the United States (1845).

Thank you for your kind words. The CTP token (66+) of them you saw were earned from my two tickets that won in two different draws at different days. For the 41 xplore, that was the number of times I xplored for that given date. Hope I've covered all grounds?
