Tyrese Maxey drops 54 in Milwaukee Thursday! Heat visit Philly this afternoon
Tyrese Maxey had a mega MVP like performance in their OT victory versus the Bucks Thursday! A career high of 54 points! What a beautiful game! He was relentless at every level, using both hands to score with total ease. He didn't look remotely injured just unreal. I'm telling you, these MVP talks might be transforming into reality! His steady growth over his career has really been unbelievable, I'm so happy the Sixers actually showed some patience with him.
Paul George played in his second game and was absolutely cooking early and scored the Sixers first 11 points. He finished with 21! That was honestly surprising but so helpful obviously.
Myles Turner of the Bucks was pesky which was unsurprising but the Sixers still found a way.
The Heat come to town today, and while it's still early they are 10-6 and the Sixers are 9-6. Interesting implications for the Eastern Conference standings!
Today is a busy day, I have my son over, both the Titans and the Sixers are playing, we have Legos ready to build, had a great time yesterday. Phew. Life can be nuts sometimes but all I know is this particular weekend has been absolutely perfect.
A Titans and Sixers win today? That would be amazing too.
#GOSIXERS!

While I didn't watch the game I had to go back and watch the highlights
It's a funny mix because since the game takes place in Milwaukee the crowd is completely silent during all his shots. Dude just couldn't miss.
I haven't really been following him but just from that short 4 minutes above I kind of appreciate his apparent lack of interest in showboating and trash talking. He just gets the points and turns around and gets on defense.
That's actually a hilarious observation by you regarding the Milwaukee crowd! Another wise observation by you is Tyrese's character. He seems to have that rare combo of athletic skills and high character as far as I can tell. I get the impression that Tyrese wants to shine for the Sixers and his own career while the roster and franchise goes through its ups and downs. He's really such a bright spot for the team night in and night out. Already a Sixers legend and his legend grows rapidly!
