That time I said words

I just realised it is basically March already. Which I guess for most is good since then the new years' money crunch will feel like it is starting to alleviate.

It is also my second day back at work after a pretty long time and I will assume that time is going to show me a fat middle finger and slow down between 9-5.

Although I think I have a trick up my sleeve. The best method to make time pass is to do stuff that is kinda interesting, be it a rabbit hole down Youtube or just one more Chess game which usually turns out "Oh shit that was an hour." Anything but focus on work.

In real quiet times, I can even fiddle with code and for the most part, since I now have a laptop, I can almost fully consider work as this weird coffee shop I go to do my things but I need to help people in between, ya know for the free coffee.

I don't know if it is a good plan but these are the kinds of opportunities having a laptop provides.

With more time being spent squeezing in things I want to do; which is anything other than dealing with customers. I do spend more time perusing Hive than I use to.

Some of that is getting an idea of cool places I can post to maybe with some extra rewards. I know there is like the Top 5 or so and I wonder if is Hive really that small that we only have the Top 5 communities or challenges available.

Then I wonder with these communities posting so in isolation what is the real benefit to them or Hive? For Hive I guess so long as people make money and for those who post obviously the money is welcomed and many times needed.

But what more is there?

Then again I think that is similar to thinking oh what more is there after making Youtube videos, in the end, the only point is, to create content, get people to spend time consuming it then get paid.

On Youtube, you definitely have that metric, on Hive we do skip a step, the part where people spend time consuming it. Fortunately the values I guess do reflect that well enough.

If Hive were to grow though unless the value goes up I can only giggle to think how people start writing I use to get this much and now I get only $1 per post.

Then the newbie, oh no one wants to vote me posts.

Then the whale, you should do this for me to precum on your post, posts.

Another thing with work that I have figured out and experimenting now with is: My sleep revolves around work. It is only evening two but I think my new plan will be pretty good for me to focus again more on shit I want to do rather than the shit I have to do.

Fortunately, my work is braindead and pointless, so the biggest thing is that I have always planned my sleep according to when it is time to wake up for work.

Which is stupid.

Now I am trying to sleep most hours right after work or early in the evening which will have me wide awake by 3 am on average. This I still want to tweak since that only gives me 6 hours in the evening to do stuff. Ideally, I want another 8 or more.

The benefit is, I am awake for the things I care to do and I will be kinda sleepy by midday at work which is fine since it is a drudge anyhow.

I should avoid crashing a lot more and I get to carry a resting bitch face from being tired all day till I get home which is just perfect.

Communities.. me either. I try to post in different ones every couple articles mainly to support whoever created it cuz I know people appreciate them.

But I've never searched a community for content, don't even know how. I look for authors by name, like you @penderis! and #tags.

Whaddup. Coolest title I've seen all day.

Yeah I mainly follow a lot of people so I can find them again because searching feels a bit dodgy still, I never find anything I am searching haha. Hive is like before phones when we had to remember numbers. :P Thanx I might just spam the title on everything since it seems general purpose I think. !PIZZA !LOLZ
