Family Photos

This post will fit for two challenges namely
Beautiful Sunday By @ace108, and Sublime Sunday, created by @c0ff33a, and I am having a little fun with it today, after a entry I did for a photo challenge recently where the topic was Selfie and I cheated with using reflections, some asked for me to do a real selfie so I looked through the family photos and found some I could share for this post

I guess I should start with a photo of me, when I was a bit younger and more thoughtful

OK I am just having a bit of fun, and as you know these are not family photos, but some shots I took at the Museum of Natural history on a visit a month or so ago and decided to have a bit of fun with it,the Monkeys and apes are far better looking than me and I do not like pointing my camera at myself for fear I may break it.

One tip if you ever visit NYC and decide to go tot he Museum of Natural history allow plenty of time, I just looked it up and they say to allow 3 to 4 hours, which sounds about right to me, I only allowed myself a couple of hours so I had to rush around to see as much of it as I could, and may well visit it again if time permits

My first thought was that the Kiwi's look quite like the Kiwi fruit ;) lol

Some people don't like to get photographed, especially not when the photo might be published worldwide with no chance of deleting it ever completely. You belong to these people and I too 😊

I would be quite !DERANGED if I didn't give you a !BEER and a !COFFEEA for this $trdo post 😉

Ohh yeah I have always been like that, my daughter in Law likes taking photos of family events and shares them on Farcebook and insists I am in some of I don't drink !BEER anymore and never have had hot drinks myself,which some may say is !DERANGED but I do share !COFFEEA` now I must pop to the !MARLIANS !shop soon to pick up odds and ends them but i hate it lOL

As child I didn't mind getting photographed, because the photos have been developed on paper and stayed at home - none of these photos has ever left our house ... I think ;)

Ohh yeah thats a very good point and infact when I was a kid I think the only one inthe family who had a camera was an Uncle who was the one who first taught me photography, and he didnt like showing his photos that much so hardly anyone saw them LOL

Yes, you have told me about him and that it is his fault, that you have to take photos all the time ;)
My father had a small Kodak camera. I don't know if I remember right, but I think it was orange and white and I think it is still somewhere at home. If I don't forget I'll have a look next time I visit them.

You triggered a memory I think My father had a brownie camera, I do now remember seeing it sitting on a desk inthe house but i do not ever remember him using it I wonder what ever happened to it

I just remembered that I have a Brownie somewhere on a shelf, and I always wondered why it is called "Brownie" although it is gray ;)

Now that’s something I do know the answer to, it was originally called a brownie as they were first made for Eastman by a company ran by a game whose name was Brownell

in days of old there was !COFFEEA and !BEER, but no internet of cell phones, nor a !MARLIANS !shop the kids of today would think that was quite !DERANGED

When you learned this info you might have thought that one day you will need it to tell an Austrian what he needs to know, and this is why you stored it on an easy to find place to easily find it later.

How was the line to get in? I remember that taking at least 30 minutes to an hour. That was before I even got to start looking at stuff!

I got lucky the tim I went on this visit was less than 20 Minutes to et tot he ticket counter, the previous timeI tried the queue was crazy long and I turned away
