Comfortable Wear! Confident Looks!

woman-3054410_640.jpg

If wearing high heels is the only determiner of being a lady then I rather give out my ladyhood role and if there is anything I dislike as a person, it is discomforting myself in any way possible, especially the quest to please people or look all perfect in their eyes.
I rather do what makes me happy and comfortable than try to be in someone's good book.

Wearing high heels is one of my biggest discomforts. The rate of discomfort cannot be understated. Wearing them is my worst nightmares.
When I was younger, I used to admire ladies who go on heels but I stopped at nothing other than to laugh at those who couldn't walk comfortably after wearing high heels. Their steps are usually funny and I find myself giggling or shaking my head each time I see them.

I don't think I have had any terrible experience with high heels since I don't even wear them. But the first time I wore something that lifted me off the ground a bit, I regretted it because of how uncomfortable I was, and to crown it all, my feet were suffering or better still, paying the price for a greater part of the discomfort.
Though after that first experience, I became used to that particular shoes which I can now wear with comfort and at my convenience.

It's funny how you are being noted for something or singled out for a particular thing. The first time after ages I wore that shoe that lifted me off the ground a bit, most of my friends exclaimed, one was like "Waky what happened today?" 🙄 Didi must be crazy though😂😅 and then the other was like Wow! Senior it's been like ages you wore heels
And for my mind I was like, has she even seen me on heels before? Cause I doubt, I can't even remember the last time I wore it myself, talk more of the young lady seeing me on them.
All the same, the exclamations were just alarming and I was like, this is crazy. So it means I am known for flat shoes and sneakers (my very best☺)

Well, it's good to be known for what you like or love and I am proud to be a lover of Flats and Sneakers
But all the same, I applaud ladies who wear high heels with so much confidence and comfort.
Kudus! To all those ladies, I don't mind trading my ladyhood with you guys😂 hey! Just kidding you lol.
Wearing high heels doesn't make me a lady or any less of it.
Cheers to every lady out there who is comfortable and confident in what she wears and how she looks.

Still your baby girl ;)

It baffles me sometimes when I see ladies battling with heels.. If you don't know how to walk on heels, why put them on? For the sake of fashion?.... Dear sister, you are doing your self more harm than good... I would advice you always put on something your are so comfortable with to avoid embarrassment.

Good to know you are a lover of sneakers and flats, atleast you will never be embarrassed while putting them on..

Nice Post.... @dreemport directed me here

A girl after my own heart lol. Wholeheartedly agree @zellypearl I love how heels make me feel all girly and wonderful for a night out, but they are so impractical and uncomfortable. The last time I wore a proper pair of heels was on a date about 2-3 years ago with my hubby. We decided to go into Windsor (Queen Elizabeth II has her home in Windsor Castle which is the focalpoint of the town). It is our local town that we visit for shopping and eating out. Hubby wanted to draw some cash too as we planned to go to some of the bars under the arches after our dinner at Thai Square restaurant, and to play some pool, have a few cocktails, and dance a bit, so he needed cash for the pool tables lol. Anyway, short story long haha ...Windsor has a lot of cobblestone too so when I had to walk from the restaurant to the ATMs beneath the shadow of the castle, my feet were not happy at all and I had to take my shoes off and walk barefoot. Pleasant not! And for pool I had to take them off too. And then by the time we got back to our local train station after our evening out and had to walk the final 10 minutes...that was enough...I walked home in the middle of the night barefoot, dangling my strappy heels at my side. They may be pretty to look at and make you feel wonderful when you first put them but boy oh boy do our feet feel free and happy when we take them off...flats and sneakers all the way girl! 😂😂😂 you made me giggle all the way through.
I am glad dreemport brought you here.
I couldn't have thought you will put them off and walk barefoot. People here would feel a bit embarrassed about it.
I remember when a friend's sandal cut in school while on our way to lectures and I told her to remove it and walk barefoot at least to walk faster and much comfortably since we were already late for class but she shouted and I understood why😂😂😅
Maybe she would have if she was still in primary school or high school but for University, she felt embarrassed lol.
But whatever be the case, High heel is a no for me. Flats and sneakers always☺

Thanks for dropping by @samsmith1971

ha ha it was either that or risk breaking a leg ha ha. Believe me in the centre of Windsor on an evening out, it wasn't my best look or first choice, but comfort (and safety) come first ha ha

Your friend must have been cursing those shoes. She must have felt so silly, bless her. I can only imagine what she looked like trying to keep broken shoes on. I wonder how many times they kept falling off😂I do hope she was either ble to get the fixed or to buy another pair soon after🙏

Lol, I am sure she must have been doing that.
I think she sewed it when she got home.
