The 1st Test Match of the West Indies tour of Zimbabwe, 2023 started on 4 February 2023 at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Today is the 4th day of the match, West Indies declared the first inning after scoring 447 runs for losing 6 wickets, and Zimbabwe also declared the inning in 379/9 runs.

West Indies 1st Innings- West Indies batted first after winning the toss, and started the inning very strongly, Kraigg Brathwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul came to start the inning and gave a solid start with a triple-century partnership of 336 runs for the first wicket, Kraigg Brathwaite played a very brilliant a century and a half-century inning of 182 runs with the help of 18 boundaries in 312 balls, and Tagenarine Chanderpaul also played a very brilliant unbeaten double-century inning of 207 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 16 boundaries in 467 balls, apart from this no batsman could play well and stay in the crease, Kyle Mayers dismissed just for 20 runs, Jason Holder 11 run, Roston Chase 7 run, Jermaine Blackwood 5 run, Raymon Reifer 2 runs, and Joshua Da Silva remains unbeaten for 3 runs. West Indies declared the inning after scoring 447 runs for losing 6 wickets on 3rd Day of the second session.

Zimbabwe bowler, Brandon Mavuta performed very brilliantly took 5 wickets for 140 runs in 41 overs, and Wellington Masakadza got 1 wicket for 85 runs in 31 overs.

Zimbabwe 1st Innings- Zimbabwe also started the inning very brilliantly, Gary Ballance played a very brilliant unbeaten century inning of 137 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 12 boundaries in 231 balls, and Innocent Kaia played a brilliant half-century inning of 67 runs with the help of 9 boundaries in 132 balls, Brandon Mavuta also played a half-century inning of 56 runs with the help of 9 boundaries in 132 balls, apart from this, Brandon Mavuta scored 33 runs in 81 balls, Chamu Chibhabha 9 runs, Craig Ervine 13 runs, Tafadzwa Tsiga 2 run, Brad Evans 7 run, Wellington Masakadza 15 runs, Victor Nyauchi 13 runs, and Richard Ngarava remains unbeaten inning of 19 runs in 20 balls. Zimbabwe also declared the inning with a score of 379/9 runs in a few minutes in the last session of the 4th Day.

West Indies bowlers- Alzarri Joseph took 3 wickets for 75 runs in 26 overs, Jason Holder 2 wickets for 55 in 17 overs, Gudakesh Motie 2 wickets for 110 runs in 33 overs, Kemar Roach 1 wicket for 35 runs in 15 overs, and Kraigg Brathwaite 1 wicket for 12 runs in 5 overs.
