The 2nd T20I Match of the India tour of New Zealand, 2022 played today at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. In which India beats New Zealand by 65 runs.

New Zealand won the toss and invited India to bat first, India batted first, and started the inning very well, Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant came to start the inning, and the first wicket has gone for 36 runs in the first ball of the 6th over,
Rishabh Pant dismissed just for 6 runs in 13 balls, next batsman Suryakumar Yadav came to bat and handled the inning with Ishan Kishan, the second wicket has gone for 69 runs in first ball of the 10th over, Ishan Kishan dismissed after scoring 36 runs with the help of 1 six and 5 boundaries in 31 balls, next batsman Shreyas Iyer came to bat and he good strike rotate with Suryakumar Yadav, the third wicket has gone for 108 runs in 12.4 over, Shreyas Iyer dismissed for 13 runs in 19 balls, followed by Hardik Pandya came to bat and he good strike rotate with Suryakumar Yadav, the fourth wicket has gone for 190 runs in third ball of the final over, Hardik Pandya dismissed for 13 runs 13 balls, next batsman Deepak Hooda came to bat and he dismissed in the next bal as fifth wicket, next batsman Washington Sundar came to bat and he also dismissed in the next bal wihtout scoring as sixth wicket, followed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar came to bat and he remains unbeaten for 1 run with Suryakumar Yadav, and Suryakumar Yadav played a very brilliant unbeaten quick century inning of 111 runs with the help of 7 sixes and 11 boundaires in just 51 balls. In this way, India scored 191 runs after losing 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a strong target of 192 runs in front of New Zealand.

New Zealand's bowlers Tim Southee took 3 wickets just for 34 runs, Lockie Ferguson took 2 wickets for 49 runs, and Ish Sodhi got 1 wicket for 35 runs.

New Zealand chasing 192 runs in the second inning the entire team was dismissed just for 126 runs in the fifth ball of the 19th over, New Zealand started the inning not very well, Kane Williamson played a brilliant half-century inning of 61 runs with a help of 2 sixes and 4 boundaries in 52 balls, Devon Conway scored 25 runs in 22 balls, apart from this no batsman could play well and stay in the crease, Glenn Phillips dismissed just for 12 runs, Daryl Mitchell 10 runs, Adam Milne 6 runs, Mitchell Santner 2 runs, Ish Sodhi 1 run, Finn Allen, James Neesham and Tim Southee dismissed without scoring, and Lockie Ferguson remains unbeaten for 1 run. In this way continuously wickets failed one after another and end of the result the entire team was all out just for 126 runs in 18.5 overs and lost the match by 65 runs.

Indian bowler Deepak Hooda Adam Zampa performed very brilliant bowing, he took 4 wickets just for 10 runs in 2.5 overs, Mohammed Siraj took 2 wickets just for 24 runs, Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets just for 26 runs, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Washington Sundar got 1-1 wicket.

Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav was selected as the best player of the match, he played a very brilliant unbeaten quick century inning of 111 runs with the help of 7 sixes and 11 boundaries in just 51 balls.
