The 42nd Match of the ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2022 was played yesterday between India vs Zimbabwe, at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. In which India beat Zimbabwe by a big margin of 71 runs.
India batted first after winning the toss, started the inning very well, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 27 runs in 3.5 over, Rohit Sharma dismissed for 15 runs in 13 balls, next batsman Virat Kohli came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 60 runs with KL Rahul, the second wicket has gone for 87 runs in 11.5 over, Virat Kohli dismissed after scoring 26 runs in 25 balls, next batsman Suryakumar Yadav came to bat, after few moments third wicket has also gone for 95 runs in 12.2 over, KL Rahul dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 51 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 35 balls, followed by Rishabh Pant came to bat and he dismissed very quickly just for 3 runs as fourth wicket in 13.3 over, the team score was 101 runs, next batsman Hardik Pandya came to bat and he good strike rotate and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 65 runs with Suryakumar Yadav, the fifth wicket has gone for 166 runs in second ball of the final over, Hardik Pandya dismissed after scoring 18 runs in 18 balls, followed by Axer Patel came to bat and he reamins unbeaten without playing any ball, and Suryakumar Yadav played a very brilliant unbeaten quick half-century inning of 61 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 6 boundaries in just 25 balls. In this way, India scored 186 runs after losing 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a very strong target of 187 runs in front of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe's bowlers Sean Williams took 2 wickets just for 9 runs, Sikandar Raza, Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava got 1-1 wicket.

Indian bowlers performed very brilliant bowling Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets just for 22 runs, Hardik Pandya took 2 wickets just for 16 runs, Mohammed Shami took 2 wickets just for 14 runs, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel got 1-1 wicket.
