The Eliminator Match of the Womens Premier League 2023 was played today between Mumbai Indians Women vs UP Warriorz at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. In which Mumbai Indians Women defeted UP Warriorz by a big margin of 72 runs.

UP Warriorz won the toss and and invited Mumbai Indians Women to bat first, Mumbai Indians Women batted first started the inning very well, Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 31 runs in 4.2 over, Yastika Bhatia dismissed for 21 runs in 18 balls, next batsman Nat Sciver-Brunt came to bat and handled the inning with Hayley Matthews, the second wicket has gone for 69 runs in first ball of the 10th over, Hayley Matthews dismissed after scoring 26 runs in 26 balls, next batsman Harmanpreet Kaur came to bat and she good strike rotate with Nat Sciver-Brunt, the third wicket has gone for 104 runs in 12.5 over, Harmanpreet Kaur dismissed for 14 runs in 15 balls, followed by Melie Kerr came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 60 runs with Nat Sciver-Brunt, the fourth wicket has gone for 164 runs in last ball of the 19th over, Melie Kerr dismissed after scoring 29 runs with the help of 5 boundaires in just 19 balls, next batsman Pooja Vastrakar came to bat and she remains unbeaten for 11 runs in just 4 balls with Nat Sciver-Brunt, Nat Sciver-Brunt played a very brilliant unbeaten quick half-century inning of 72 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 9 boundaires in just 38 balls. In this way, Mumbai Indians Women scored 182 runs for losing just 4 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs and set a target of 183 runs in front of UP Warriorz.

UP Warriorz bowlers Sophie Ecclestone took 2 wickets for 39 runs, Anjali Sarvani 1 wicket for 17 runs in 3 overs, and Parshavi Chopra got 1 wicket for 25 runs in 2 overs.

UP Warriorz chasing 102 runs in the second inning, the entire team dismissed just for 110 runs in fourth ball of the 18th overs. UP Warriorz started the inning very poorly, Kiran Navgire played a very brilliant quick inning of 43 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 4 boudaries in just 27 balls, apart from this no batsman could and stary in the crease, Deepti Sharma dismissed for 16 runs in 20 balls, Grace Harris 14 runs in 12 balls, Alyssa Healy 11 runs in 6 balls, Tahlia McGrath dismissed just for 7 runs in 6 balls, Anjali Sarvani 5 runs in 11 balls, Rajeshwari Gayakwad 5 runs in 9 balls, Shweta Sehrawat 1 run, Simran Shaikh and Sophie Ecclestone dismissed without scoring, and Parshavi Chopra remians unbeaten without scoring. In this way continuously wickets failed one after another and end of the result the entire team all-out just for 110 runs in 17.4 over, and lost the match by a big margin of 72 runs.

Mumbai Indians Women bowler Issy Wong performed very brilliant bowling took 4 wickets just for 15 runs, Saika Ishaque 2 wickets just for 24 runs in 2.4 overs, Hayley Matthews 1 wicket for 21 runs in 3 overs, and Jintimani Kalita 1 wicket for just for 2 runs in 1 over.

Mumbai Indians Women batsman Nat Sciver-Brunt was selected as the best player of the match, she played a very brilliant unbeaten quick half-century inning of 72 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 9 boundaires in just 38 balls.
