Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first after winning the toss, and started the inning very strongly, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis came to start the inning and gave a strong start with a half-century partnership of 50 runs for the first wicket, the first wicket dismissed for 50 runs in last ball of the 7th over, Virat Kohli dismissed after scoring 18 runs in 19 balls, next batsman Glenn Maxwell came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 69 runs with Faf du Plessis, the second wicket has dismissed for 119 runs in 14.5 over, Faf du Plessis dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 55 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundaires in just 44 balls, next batsman Mahipal Lomror came to bat and he dismissed just for 1 run in 2 balls as third wicket in first ball of the 16th over, the team score was 120 runs, next batsman Dinesh Karthik came to bat and he also dismissed very quickly without scoring in just 2 balls as fourth wicket, the team score was 120 runs, next batsman Michael Bracewell came to bat and he good strike rotate with Glenn Maxwell, the fifth wicket dismissed for 137 runs in 17.3 over, Glenn Maxwell dismissed after playing a very brilliant quick half-century inning of 54 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 5 boundaries in just 33 balls, followed by Anuj Rawat came to bat and he played a brilliant quick unbeaten inning of 29 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundaires in just 11 balls with Michael Bracewell, and Michael Bracewell also remians unbeaten for 9 runs in 9 balls. In this way, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 171 runs for losing just 5 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs and set a target of 172 runs in front of Rajasthan Royals.
