The 4th Match of the Big Bash League 2022-23 was played today bitween Melbourne Stars vs Hobart Hurricanes at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. In which Melbourne Stars win over Hobart Hurricanes by 38 runs.

Hobart Hurricanes won the toss and invited Melbourne Stars to bat first, Melbourne Stars batted first, started the inning very brilliantly, Joe Clarke and Thomas Rogers came to start the inning and gave a brilliant start with half-century partnership of 54 runs for the first wicket, the first wicket has gone for 54 runs in 5.4 over, Thomas Rogers dismissed after scoring 20 runs in 13 balls, next batsman Beau Webster came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 51 runs with Joe Clarke for the second wicket, the second wicket has gone for 105 runs in 11.5 over, Beau Webster dismissed after scoring 24 runs in 22 balls, next batsman Marcus Stoinis came to bat and he dismissed very quickly in without scoring as third wicket in 12.3 over, the team score was 106 runs, followed by Hilton Cartwright came to bat and played well with Joe Clarke, the fourth wicket has gone for 163 runs in first ball of the 19th over, Hilton Cartwright dismissed for 17 runs in 13 ball, next batsman Nick Larkin came to bat and he good strike rotate for a while with Joe Clarke, the fifth wicket has gone for 163 runs in 19.5 over, Nick Larkin dismissed for 4 runs in 4 balls, followed by Luke Wood came to bat and he remains unbeaten without scoring with Joe Clarke, and Joe Clarke played a very brilliant quick unbeaten century inning of 101 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 9 boundaries in just 66 balls.
