The 3rd and final T20I Match of the Ireland tour of Zimbabwe, 2023 was played today at Harare Sports Club, Harare. In which Ireland won over Zimbabwe by 6 wickets to seal the series by 2-1.

TOSS- Ireland won the toss and opted to bowl.

Zimbabwe Innings- Zimbabwe batted first and started the inning very well, Wessly Madhevere and Tinashe Kamunhukamwe came to start the inning, and the first wicket was dismissed for 6 runs in 1.1 over, Tinashe Kamunhukamwe dismissed just for 1 run in 2 balls, next batsman Brian Bennett came to bat and handled the inning with Wessly Madhevere, the second wicket has dismissed for 43 runs in 6.3 overs, Wessly Madhevere dismissed for 14 runs in 19 balls, next batsman Tony Munyonga came to bat, meanwhile, the third wicket also dismissed for 44 runs in the last ball of the 7th over, Brian Bennett was dismissed after scoring 27 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 1 boundary in just 19 balls, followed by Ryan Burl came to bat and handled the inning with Tony Munyonga, the fourth wicket has dismissed for 61 runs in the first ball of the 10th over, Tony Munyonga dismissed for 6 runs in 8 balls, next batsman Clive Madande came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 65 runs with Ryan Burl, the fifth wicket has dismissed for 116 runs in last ball of the 17th over, Clive Madande dismissed after scoring 27 runs with the help of 3 boundaries in 27 balls, next batsman Brandon Mavuta came to bat, meanwhile the sixth wicket also dismissed for 116 runs in the first ball of the 18th over, Ryan Burl dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 36 runs with the help of 4 boundaries in just 28 balls, followed by Luke Jongwe came to bat and played an unbeaten inning of 13 runs with the help of 2 boundaries in just 9 balls with Brandon Mavuta, and Brandon Mavuta also remains unbeaten for 8 runs in 8 balls. In this way, Zimbabwe scored 140 runs after losing 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 141 runs for Ireland.

In this way, Ireland chased the target very easily for losing just 4 wickets in just 18.4 overs, and won the match by 6 wickets to seal the series by 2-1.

Zimbabwe bowlers- Blessing Muzarabani got 1 wicket for 21 runs in his spell, Richard Ngarava 1 wicket for 29 runs in 3.4 overs, Brandon Mavuta 1 wicket for 17 runs in 3 overs, Wellington Masakadza 1 wicket for 23 runs in 3 overs, Luke Jongwe was wicketless for 29 runs in 3 overs, and Ryan Burl also wicketless for 21 runs in 2 overs.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Ireland batsman George Dockrell was selected as the player of the match, he played a very brilliant unbeaten victory inning of 49 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 32 balls.

PLAYER OF THE SERIES- Ireland batsman Harry Tector was selected as the tournament of the series, he performed very brilliant batting in the entire series, scored 24 runs in the 1st match, 48 runs in the 2nd match, and 54 runs in 3rd and last match.
