The 6th Match of the Big Bash League 2023-24 was played today between Sydney Thunder vs Brisbane Heat at Manuka Oval, Canberra. In which Brisbane Heat beat Sydney Thunder by 20 runs.

TOSS- Sydney Thunder won the toss and opted to bowl.

Brisbane Heat Innings- Brisbane Heat batted first started the inning very well, Josh Brown and Colin Munro came to start the inning, the first wicket has dismissed for 24 runs in 3.5 overs, Josh Brown dismissed for 14 runs in 17 balls, next batsman Nathan McSweeney came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 67 runs for the first wicket, the second wicket has dismissed for 91 runs in 12.2 overs, Nathan McSweeney dismissed after scoring 29 runs in 27 balls, next batsman Matt Renshaw came to bat, meanwhile the third wicket has also dismissed for 97 runs in 13.3 overs, Colin Munro dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 46 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 2 boundaries in just 33 balls, followed by Sam Billings came to bat and handled the inning with Matt Renshaw, the firth wicket dismissed for 137 runs in 18.4 overs, Matt Renshaw dismissed after scoring 20 runs in 19 balls, next batsman Paul Walter came to bat and he was dismissed just for 6 runs in 2 balls as fifth wicket in last ball of the 19th over, the team score was 143 runs, next batsman Xavier Bartlett came to bat, meanwhile the sixth wicket also dismissed for 144 runs in 19.2 overs, Sam Billings dismissed after scroring 23 runs with the help of 3 boundaries in just 18 balls, next batsman Michael Neser came to bat and he was dismissed just for 2 runs in 2 balls as 7th wicket in fourth ball of the final over, the team score was 146 runs, followed by Spencer Johnson came to bat and he was remains unbeaten for 4 runs in 2 balls with Xavier Bartlett, and Xavier Bartlett also remians ubeaten without playing a ball. In this way, Brisbane Heat scored 151 runs after losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 152 runs for Sydney Thunder.

Sydney Thunder Inning- Sydney Thunder chasing 152 runs in the second inning the entire team dismissed just for 131 runs in the last ball of the 19th over and lost the match by 20 runs. Sydney Thunder started the inning very poorly, Oliver Davies played a brilliant inning of 35 runs with the help of 1 six and 2 boundaries in just 30 balls, Chris Green scored 30 runs with the help of 5 boundaries in just 20 balls, Cameron Bancroft 25 runs with the help of 1 six and 2 boundaries in just 19 balls, apart from this no batsman could play well and stay in the crease, Nathan McAndrew dismissed just for 13 runs in 9 balls, Daniel Sams 11 runs in 9 balls, Matthew Gilkes 3 runs in 10 balls, Liam Hatcher 3 runs in 6 balls, Alex Ross 2 runs in 6 balls, Alex Hales and Tanveer Sangha dismissed without scoring, and Zaman Khan remains unbeaten 6 runs in 3 balls.
